Great update guys, thank you. The Company I am in got the first Territory and we had won fair and square, we defended several times and it was a blast and then the exploit happened and we lost because of hacking left me with a negative feeling about the game, and nothing has been done about it, the hackers got rewarded really makes me upset and the message it creates saying that cheating is okay and NW doing nothing about it is a terrible image. Anyways thank you for talking about this, well done!
Territory control is the whole game in my opinion. Nearly everything revolves around having it or getting it.
We lost our territory (windsward) which we held since launch day. A week ago we got war decced by another company and it went very badly with people en masse doing the invincibility exploit on the points. We lost the points very quickly and of the territory, now we are faced with level 60 faction gear thing. It's pretty poor overall.
I'm so happy you are given this Game tough love it's healthy .Love this game I'm lvl 36 .
My biggest concern is that they always take a lot of time to make it right and then they fail… every single time. I like the game but is starting to feel like a joke
Did 2 wars yesterday on a server with sub 500 people during peak. Both turned into slideshows. Runni g a ton of ram, great processor, and 3090.
I'm still leveling. Hit 48. Also hit the next level of faction so I can gear up with purples at 53 for armor and 49 for the weapons. So, will be working on that next. Lazy Peon did a rundown of the issues in a video as well. Worth checking out if you haven't. I think you did a good job covering it. Shame it has so many issues with so much testing that was done. They maybe needed to leave the beta testing up the whole time so they could get more of this ironed out.
New World has greatness in it. Sadly, if Amazon can't get it together, and get it together soon, I fear the worst. If that happens, I hope they can pull a Realm Reborn/ESO and rise from the ashes. I will remain hopeful. There is too much good stuff here to let it go into over monetized, managed decline. Sadly, it seems that MMORPG creators never really learn some of the most important lessons of the past. Like everything else, I am confident that this has something to do with money, and not the intentions of the developers.
Unfortunately I'm losing faith that amazon can fix their game. Some of the bugs haven't been fixed since alpha and it seems their code is incredibly bad and unfixable because most of the original developers left.
I agree they gotta get this stuff fixed but when have you ever seen a MMO release with out tons of bugs and exploits. A prime example is FF14 when it 1st came out it was just awful! After a year or 2 of fixing/rebooting it came out amazing! I certainly hope this game doesn't go through that but, I mean they've fixed azoth staff and tons of other exploits already I was worried they wasn't going to it fixed quickly but they have done amazing so far. I just hope they keep fixing everything while getting new content out also.

I think they need to readdress how their PVP and wars work in general. Currently, in order to participate in a war, you need to brown nose and suck up to the leader of the faction that declares. You'll never get in a war unless you submit to the high school clique that has formed on these servers. People will stop playing because they're not able to participate in the end game which quite frankly is simply wars.
