  1. Okay. Its been bugging me since I saw it forever ago, but I despise the warhammer design. Its ridiculously huge and stupid! Everything else is proportioned quite nicely (bow is a bit chunky but whatever) but for some reason they decided that sticking a massive chunk of metal on a thick ass rod looks better than actual (or sensibly fantastical) warhammers.

I mean you commented a lot on individual playing mechanics, but all i care about is pvp aspects. did they remove keep/fort fights? is it carebear now? can squads roll up and just take your shit or did they make it hearts stars and horseshoes for everyone? what about crafting and farming? is it still static nodes? i.e. same one and chests spawn in the samn damn place every time on a timer?

  3. I agree… two weapons and more skills. From every video I've seen the animations of the skills and skills them self are just sssssssooooooo boring and simplistic….. this does not appeal to a large amount of people. I can see this game only lasting maybe about 3years at it's highest population and then crashing down. I would have loved to see BDO combat in more games they could take some notes from other MMOs that still maintain a decent pop. Probably not wasting the cash on this trash

  4. i think if you use all 3 abilities , there should be like 1s or 2 s global CD before you can use ability on other weapon, but remain the main cooldown of the skill you just used so it is not just a spam

  5. The combat is still a turn off. You look like a clown wearing three sets of weapons, especially the near mandatory staff for the dash. It had already reached the point of a meta … staff, sword/shield and hammer with heavy armor. Wish they would have made it a one wpn system like Albion, that you could only swap out of combat. Ah well, to each their own, Game just isn't for me.

  6. Oof…End game content?…Why can't we have a complete season server reboot like crowfall has such as "the frost"? new fresh starts for everyone and you get to keep appearance only items…All of the land will be reset so it can be regained by clans and guilds eh??? :/

It's bizarre how in an MMO like this combat still looks like that … reminiscent of WoW combat, basically, but with better graphics, when Black Desert Online already exists and has raised the bar so, very high when it comes to combat mechanics and animations. One of the main reasons — along with outdated graphics — that it is very hard for me to go back to WoW, or to switch to something like this, is this huge gap in fun combat mechanics and animations. And I do not play Black Desert Online anymore because I discovered that it is a virtual casino very smartly turned into an MMO, especially when it comes to gear progression, and it doesn't sit right by me to keep encouraging developers of games like that. I do not recommend anyone to play BDO in the long run but I do invite people who haven't tried it to create two or three trial classes (at high level), especially the Wizard and Striker classes, and see for themselves the combat mechanics and animations and the game's graphics. I've heard of people complaining about the combat because it is not "tab based," but other than that, once you've enjoyed the impact, fluidity, and experience of such combat in an MMO, it becomes very, very difficult for some players to go back to WoW combat and this typical last-gen combat. And unfortunately, it looks like New World's combat is only a slightly upgraded form of typical last-gen MMO combat.

  8. They should allow preorders to play regardless of the state of the game. Not this selective alpha testing group crap. I can wait for the full game, but I paid for a game that was supposed to release last year. They have my money, would be fair to allow me into their game in alpha state.

  9. You got money, you make good game. Since New World has indefinite amount of budget, they keep overhauling the game as the player want it. They got no limit so I think it's not possible to fail. Most of the time publishers or developers can not overhaul the game as easy as New World did. I can not wait!

  10. I also think 2 weapons would be better, and it would be good if caster classes are gimped without intel or everyone with be half cleric. For the basic combat i would love if they took some ideas from kurtzpel and the way they make basic attacks differ depending on timing or mixing with heavy attacks dodges and jumps, this would make it less painfull for there to be so few skills, kurtzpel is a trash game but the combat is fire. Also i would like if they include more traditional Middle ages armors

  11. You know what i'm tired of hearing in gaming these days "this game has potential" sory i know you mean well but usually it's the sign of a poorly realised bag of mixed ideas in game form, I am watching newworld stuff but so far it doesn't push and boundries
