About to try this tomorrow. Been farming iron ore and making steel to level my armoring from making the greaves And holy shit man it just feels like it's taking forever even at level 79

You also burn more hide and iron, and hemp and silkweave are dumb easy to farm compared to iron on high pop servers so it is cheaper on fiber sure but more resource heavy on iron and hide that way, you cna use iron and coars hide even when using higher lvl cloth for better exp

Anyone that has actually pushed crafting from 150-200 in armoring/weaponsmithing can tell you how your're off by at least 60% on your estimates. Calculating the raw outputs and corresponding raw mats is how most tryhard crafters have gatekeeped how easy it is to lvl armoring.
I am confused man for some reason i think ur right on the other hand i feel this way is so so slow
