I actually loved the beta, hopefully if they get enough backlash they'll be forced to rethink, though it's Amazon so I wouldn't hold out for much. The world is dying for a new good MMO.
I'm looking forward to seeing how out of hand DICE/EA get with their new BF game and if their MTX's also look at XP and Time boosters too.
LOL…Probably be selling cheats and hacks for their own game as part of an "Emersion Package" for those unable to properly navigate a mouse and keyboard or grasp a controller.
What's really annoying is how many people will actually give up money for this crap. If everyone stops supporting this behavior it will get better but that's not likely for some reason, I just don't understand why people keep supporting these companies.
This New World combat gameplay reminds me of Elder Scroll Oline – clunky and stiff. Seems like western developers can't really create beautiful MMO with beautiful character design and animations π

Boosters in an MMO is nothing new…..Booster at launch for an MMO is a BIG DEAL, your buying a game and paying money to not play it…..mmo's are build on adventure, discovery those magical moments in the 1st few months will be tarnished this kills an MMO. im sorry amazon should just become a publisher as there making games for the wrong reasons.
It sounds like they want to monetize every basic mechanic you need as a player to play an MMO.
Exp, player housing (that means storage for your character/s), fast travel and skins. I have played MMO games that charge for exp and player housing before and it sucks. And they want to add fast travel on top of that? No thanks, I will be staying as far away from this disaster as I can get. Lol.

I play a variety of games. They ALL have some form of microtransactions in them. It doesn't bother me. Especially IF I know I'm getting X for X amount of money. Random loot boxes no thank you.
My question. Why can a game be broken AF, yet the one thing without fail that always works perfect is the store front?
ANY kind of "booster" will never be a good idea in a game where half the activities and competion are PvP based. That right there makes boosters mandatory.
