  1. Maybe that would make any sense if they will add some vehicles, mounts that would push a life to game there is nothing more interesting than pets, mouts, vehicles maybe own bases anything that we could interact with. For now New World its just walking around world that not make any fun after all.

  2. Ironwood spears using wildwood and barbvine as primary material should be way cheaper. At least on my server they cost less than 1/4 of ori ingots. To make it even a better deal, when you salvage you get ironwood planks back. Seems people are sleeping on these special materials. When I leveled armoring I actually made a profit buying thousands of scalecord and glintstrands with buy orders, crafting into silk pants, then selling the silk I got from salvaging.

  3. fuck me, i was making spears for 100-150, wyrdwood is crazy expensive so i've been using ebonwood and quilbark which are 7-8 gold each where as wyrdplanks are 16g each. I've spent 15 grand already on engineering 108-128 and as a new player this is super super expensive for me.

  4. For anyone watching right now (medley fair) it’s dirt cheap to get to 50 or even 100 with engineering with just hyssop, fibers, and flint. The town board engineering work orders for the medley fair reward good XP for effort and resources.

  5. In my times we chopped wood wolves or just buy the wyrdwood as it was dirt cheap and craft spears or fishing pools. With the economy of how wyrdwood, lodestone and motes are going, AGS may revert the drops from animals

  6. 150-200 should be done by crafting orichalcum cartridges and arrows if you have the gold. You can slowly resell them to recoup and save some for range builds. I roughly did the math in my head and I think it’s cheaper too.

  7. I love how you are right to the point and accurate. I have been to so many other sites and they are ass. Telling us stories about what their day was like whatever I despise them because many of them give disinformation that is total ass, and I don't give a fuck how their day went. Anyway, ty so much for the information it helps so much and save tons of money!

  8. man its very expensive after level 150… i spent 20k gold to buy ores, could get only 10-15 levels. why are we spending 100-200k gold for one crafting skill, we can buy best items for 10k. and we never get profit by selling crafted items too… isnt it waste of time?

  9. for exmaple if i wanna roll orichalcum mining pickaxe, which is lvl 150, do i need to have lvl 200 to be able to roll 595-600 even though the pickaxe requieres only lvl 150?

  10. Either I'm blind or I can't read lol I looked in the search item for starmetal blunderbuss and either is not anymore or after only 2 days of playing I don't have it somehow listed … 😅

  11. Sadly, this guide is going to need to be updated after Brimstone drops 🤣😭 (legendary tools). I also recently maxed engineering and spears were WAY cheaper from 100-200, because the main mat is wood, which is cheaper than metals typically and you get the actual mat on salvage (wyrdwood/ironwood planks) but use the rare mat from the respective tier on crafting (ebonwood/wildwood, etc.), then sell the planks, buy more rare tier 4/5, craft, salvage, repeat. That probably saved me 40-50k gold

  12. Just an update as I was trying to push engineering up and realized they changed lacquered spear to black smithing weapons. Now you either do the lacquered bow or the iron blunderbuss which is a bit more farming
