  1. As a Sisters player, the points nerfs were warranted. No problems there. My issue is that there were no other points drops to make other detachments viable. We're still stuck with one decent detachment that just got points bloated.

  2. Havocs getting buffed is awesome because I feel like they're underutilized two 5 man havoc squads with reaper chain cannons between the 2 of them is 64 hits, couple it with the mark of nurgle and now you're criting sustained hits on 5s and if you're running renegade you get the +1 ap on objectives. Havocs are insane with most of their load outs

  3. This MFD has me genuinely upset, almost to the point of just selling off my Sisters.

First off, while I love the Valkyrie theme of Celestine, their playstyle is not my cup of tea. If anyone has played Starcraft, my army was Protoss, whilst Sisters want to be played like Zerg. I'm also not a fan of penitent units, which is where all our melee and durability is.

Second, my list gets nerfed, and I wasn't even running Triumph or Vahl. Paragons just cannot kill ANYTHING in my experience. Heck, last night going into Knights I knw it was going to be rough, but when 2 units of Paragons fire at a Paladin with 2 Castigators for support, and 1 Paragon gets into melee and STILL can't finish it off?!
Dominions are whatever, Immolaters are cool, Dialogus goes up ten because REASONS, Manual is still useless, Hospitallar is too expensive at 50, 65 points is far too much for a 4++, and Canoness in a 10 pack of Seraphim SOUNDS cool, but has been very underwhelming as a 275 unit…

Third, I have come to hate hate HATE the Miracle Dice mechanic. It's a win-more/lose more situation. Anything below a 4 is useless. Dialogus was my only way to fix them. Palatine with RR sounded cool…but you still have to wound with a strength 4-7 weapon. Maybe you can have 4 low MD to burn on her…but it'll only work once, because toughness 3. Oh, and now split squads only get one cherub, so that reduces my potential to recycle garbage MD by a third. Manual does nothing turn 1 if you go first, so I only tried it out once. Sure, I can end the night with 10+ MD, but that's because I'm losing all my units that hit on 3s but need 5+ to wound, and 6s to make saves…

I was hoping to pivot, drop a unit of Paragons to run my Palatine with 10 Sacresants and see if that'll be fun rolling 27 S5 attacks with Sustained and lethal…but then I remember that I am terrible at rolling MD and Army of Faith will just exacerbate that…and I am losing a third of my AP4 attacks to do it…

  4. Heavy Intercessors do zero damage. No CCW at all, just rifle butts. 2 heavy bolters and 16 s5 ap 1 shots. Their footprint is huge and can’t hide well. I’ve got 20 of them from the old Death watch KT days.

  6. I knew sisters would get nerfed, and yet still makes me sad. In reality the problem is not sisters, is bringers of flame. And these nerfs paradoxically may make BoF even better than before compared to other options, as they all use the same units, and BoF still makes them more efficient, while the other 3 count on making them more expendable.
In summary, the more expensive the units are, the better BoF is compared to others, so this just plays directly into it. A point drop on things like repentia would have been nice, since nobody plays penitent host and repentia are useless outside of it now.
I feel like making penitent host was a mistake at the end. Now half of the units are extremely good in one detachment and very bad in the rest. It is like Kroot for Tau, but with units that everybody wanted to use.
