Can the same save run an Expedition multiple times? Run expedition, earn ship via phase rewards, scrap ship for parts, then end the Expedition, send the parts back to normal mode… repeat process until you have all parts.

I am confused.. I just started the expedition as a NEW game. Should I have started it somehow as my main save?
Can I be honest I'm so new to no man's sky I don't even know what expeditions are , and I love it lol , don't get me wrong I got an idea of what it is but I've never partook I don't even know what the guidelines are for expeditions I mean I'm so new at the game I really am and I've been playing on and off for I don't know a couple of years , that's hard to believe or , well it's hard to explain well not hard to explain but hard to understand , ,

I like that the stealth paint is the reward for just completing phase 1… but those other rewards, the base parts, the frigate and of course the starship, are more than enough incentive to complete the entire expedition. I finished it earlier this evening and the stats on the Iron Vulture are phenomenal given that it's a big old lumbering hauler!!

I've run the expedition on steam and gamepass, and on both of those, as long as you start from an existing save, and have the iron vulture as your ship when you finish it, you can copy the ship as many times as you like, I've done it 5 times without even counting the actual reward lol, on both systems. You just need enough open ship slots
"Allegedly" no npc's. I got hit up by the cops f opr the Nip Nip Buds you're awarded for whatever task in the Adrift expedition…. TWICE!! So, no NPC's but apparentl;y cops arent NPC's, go figure.
I was messing about doing a bunch of stuff in one system and was being chased into space by some sentinals….. when a ghostly looking frigate appeared. My controller does this crap where it discoonects after being idle for so long (maybe 5 minutes) then I have to activeate it again… but the butons reverse position.. B becomes A, and so on. So I try to activate comms…. only I de activated comms….. and the ship disappeared. DANGIT!!. I was not expecting that to happen just when it happened. I t hought it might be more of an End of Expedition reward like they usually are,
I might have to replay the whole thing just to get the frigate. GRRRRRR.

Started it yesterday and finished it today, being there for 2 months i think its enough for everyone to do it. Pretty much place to place mission and they gave me a good capital ship and i got some robot pets that i lost when done 😢 didnt check but the discovery are suposed to be there so ill just go back to get more. I found that everything was boosted and they keep giving you S upgrades and even the sub to do the sunken freighter. Freighter is a cool concept but cant teleport in. This was my first expedition and had a good day with it . Thx for other videos that helped me out ❤
