I love your videos! I have a few thoughts about topics I am really interested about your opinion! I would appreciate if you could find the time to answer this for me.
1st Awakening Shard.
I think a lot of people overlook the fact that many players are still T1 and mostly T2, especially on F2P servers. If I should guess I'd say 20-25% is in T3 and 74% is on T2 or lower and only 1% is above 1370. Now, you said yourself that honing will eat up silver really quickly. This will end up forcing people to save silver wherever they can. Awakening Shard will suddenly not be as cheap as it used to, and many people will buy it for gold, instead of silver. Could this cause a price change for awakening stones? Like from 1-3 gold to 5-7 is what I thought, but maybe that is a bit much.
2nd T3 Chaos Gate maps
Many people saying these will carry less and less value overtime. But regarding your video Honor shard's pouch price will rise. Which is almost 100%. Again, 1 % players above 1370, when more and more people gets there, maybe after this patch, they will realize that they lack honor shard and they will start buying up the market and the price will rise up. But then again, maps drops those pouches, so the spots for maps might raise as well. Adding honing success materials and if you are right about them (which again seems logical) those will raise the maps' value furthermore. I'm asking this because I'm sitting on 10 maps approximately, and I would like to hear your opinion if it is worth to hold them a bit longer.
3rd is great honor leapstones
The reasoning behind it is the same. 1% players in 1370, when the majority or more people will get to this level, it will rise in price I think. Would it worth stacking up on them for profit?

Hi Matt,
Thank you for your transparency and I appreciate how you addressed the reason for the crash. Like many others here, I also made a loss on this weeks investments but I don't think its your fault. You had a very strong rationale for your predictions and I think people should also start doing their own due diligence as well. That is something that I am starting to do a lot more after what happened yesterday. I just wanted to raise some concerns with regards to your predictions for this week as I can see the market going in the opposite direction that you are expecting.
Firstly, I agree with your point on the price of crystals. If there's any item on the market that has experienced extreme volatility its probably has to be guardian and destruction crystals. They have plummeted significantly over the past couple days and this is most likely fueled by the release of new material acquisition methods. With that in mind, I would like to raise some concerns regarding the price of rate up material. If bare honing material continues to decrease, it will be far more cost-efficient to raw tap our gears compared to using any of the rate up material. You also talked about this in one of your videos. Thus, wouldn't more people just buy destruction/guardian crystals instead of rate up material?
Secondly, current prices on the NA East market has dropped to almost half of where it was on Monday. For anyone that has made an investment on these rate up materials before then, it is very unlikely for them to see such a huge rebound occurring. If we want to make a profit (let say 20%) We would be talking about a 100% increase in price. This is why I decided to sell all my solar grace's yesterday while i still had the chance to get out. I lost money nevertheless but it would have hurt alot more if I sold at the lower price today.
Lastly, I was curious as to why you beleive fusion material prices will go down. I understand that this update comes with a chest that provides fusion material but that is the only source of easily obtainable fusion material i could find. None of the new vendors, provides this item and it can only be obtained through crafting or f4 shop. With the surplus in raw material, i think now is the best opportunity to profit on fusion material since more ppl will be tapping. HOWEVER, that does not necessarily mean they will be successful since the update did not come with any rate changes. Therefore, more taps = more base material. Of which, fusion material would be one of the most challenging to acquire since its not available through any of the vendors.
I understand that all my points I have made are purely speculative and I would love to hear your thoughts on my remarks!
Its not as much of a market crash as it is market deflation following the removal of betting and subsequent illicit gold. In addition, the whales are done whaling. In summary, you didn't lose gold. Your gold gained value.
The people who make these videos are the ones who cause the problems in the economy.
How to fix the bots:
Block all IP's from outside their region, and block VPN (and yes, this is possible) access.
I thankfully didn't get a loss, I just broke even, which I'm quite happy with. I know you feel bad, but don't. It's people choice whether they want to follow a guide or not and there are many things you couldn't of predicted. Plus every other content creator was saying the same thing about the market. Kudos to whoever can predict market trends because I've always been trash at it and always will be. xD
This crash is evitable. When more and more people come 1370+ the prices of materials of T2 and T1 will slowly begin to fall. T3 materials are going to back up, but I would not say it will be the same level. That is because it will be more and more expensive to get those materials. So progression will slow way down. That is because of the honing chance. Another words it will stabilize. However, the next venture is what we should be looking at.
I appreciate you acknowledging the price loss through your apology. It affected me dramatically and I was a bit upset about it. Your apology more then makes up for it. Trading is never a guaranteed thing. It's always a risk. Please keep the investing videos coming. Overall you're absolutely fantastic at it!
