New Trillion Dollar Market Comes, Chinese EV Giant BYD Launches Electric Motorcycle

Recently, BYD’s first self-developed electric motorcycle’s internal testing images were exposed. Based on the currently known information, this electric motorcycle, which may be named “Kele”, has a similar overall appearance to a traditional gasoline motorcycle, but has very obvious sport-cruiser elements. The biggest highlight of this new vehicle is its adaptive balance function, which means that the rider no longer needs to worry about losing balance or lack confidence when cornering, greatly improving the safety performance of two-wheeled motorcycles.

This is something that traditional gasoline motorcycles cannot easily achieve. Previously, BYD, in conjunction with several Spanish automotive companies, established the motorcycle manufacturer Nerva with the aim of creating new energy electric motorcycles. Last year, BYD applied for the registration of the “Kele” trademark, which includes projects such as electric motors and motorcycles. In fact, for passenger car companies that are facing intense price wars and shrinking profits and development space, motorcycles are undoubtedly a very good new profit growth point.

Today’s video is about electric motorcycles. Who are the global players in this industry and who is most likely to win? Undoubtedly, China has achieved a leading advantage in electric vehicles, but what about electric motorcycles? Can China once again take the lead? OK, that and more is exactly what we are going to talk about, let’s get started!
