Anno 1800 is a city building real-time strategy video game, developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft, and is set to be launched within April 2019.

It is the seventh game in the Anno series, and returns to the use of a historical setting following the last two titles, Anno 2070 and Anno 2205, taking place during the Industrial Revolution in the 19th century.

Following the previous installment, the game returns to the series’ traditional city-building and ocean combat mechanics, but introduces new aspects of gameplay, such as tourism, β€œblue-printing”, and the effects of industrialisation influences on island inhabitants.

And if you’re interested in more Anno – I’ve played all the other games in the series!

  2. I stumbled upon your channel and this series 2 days ago and binged all 12 episodes of this series so far – absolutely loving it! I used to watch my brother play this when I was in uni and it brings back great memories. Much love from Australia πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

  3. No propaganda is probably good thing to add it into this hardcore max difficulty gameplay, but it is also broken. Why should you be punished by higher consumption if there is lack of some low level good in the new world? It doesnt make any sense to me. Going in to war, losing island sure that has global influence, but some plaintains are missing in NW? People in OW dont care! I would suggest you can "deflect" newspaper with propaganda – happines or disctraction if there is a lack of basic good in the new world. Plaintains missing simply shouldnt have effect on OW consumption. If the rum is going to be missing then sure it should be influenced globally by the higher consumption because it is needed in both worlds.

  4. Hi Nivarias. Loving the series. Wow the high consumption propaganda is really tricky. I did notice when you are in your consumption screen you are clicking on each island to add up how much of a product you need to create. Not sure if you know but when you are in the consumption screen you can press CTRL+left click on the islands to select more than one and it will show you the total consumptions for the islands you selected.

  5. i commend your spirit to play at the hardest level, and to curb some tools, but at the same time, paying mountains in tribute to your enemies is definitely going to make the game harder. perhaps as you explained in your other video, you ought to start afresh again and give it another go. but i do feel for the quest of chocolates, thats just stupid for it to fail that way πŸ˜‚ looking forward to the next one!

  6. Hey Nivarias, if a newspaper item says "Fried Plantains run out in Nerubi", it only means that the Fried Plantains consumption on that specific island is increased. It doesn't mean 10% overall πŸ™‚

  7. Personally IDGAF what you do with rules, it's your game, your rules, your YT channel. There's no point if you don't have fun. I just wanna watch you play Anno 1800. Though maybe the title should be updated to replace the "No diplomacy" part with "no propaganda" ?

  8. You can press Control in the statistics menu and select two or more islands to see their combined production/consumption-rate. Just a give it a try, makes calculation easier πŸ˜‰
Great video series by the way
