  1. I will say this much, $300 GX2 costs more than a $200 – $250 G2c and the street/dealer price as of now is in the $330 range so they are not making it more affordable. Like others have said, many of us are already invested in the G series and don't need the GX2. This may be a mistake switching to the GX series and not to keeping the already proven G series. Time will tell. This is a sub compact almost the same size as the G2c/G3c sub compacts. It is not small enough to be a micro compact. The SIG P365 is still smaller and it is the measure by which all other high capacity micro 9s are measured.

  2. Thanks for the review of the GX2. "Feature rich" would mean to me that it has an optic cut out amongst other things. That's what people seem to want these days. Not sure what this GX2 does that much different than others in the G series.

  3. I like Taurus, but the marketing on this seems like it's trying to fill an artificial niche. Taurus is saying it is the replacement for the G2c. That doesn't make any sense. The G3c was supposed to be the replacement for the G2c.

  4. 13:00 – Taurus told KYGUNCO that the GX2 is replacing the very high selling G2C.

I always appreciated Taurus for making good value pistols but had never bought one. I may need to get a GX2 with a stainless slide. It has the modern features and capacity. I wish it didn't have an external safety.

  5. I have no complained about the shoot ability of these guns, but I prefer my daily carry to be single stack. 7 or 8 rounds of Plenty for me. I'm probably going to be running the other way anyways. I've never had to draw down on anybody and I hope I never do.

  6. Taurus states in its own manual to not carry with a round in the chamber and the gun may fire if bumped or dropped. 99% must not read the manual before they actually carry this.

  7. I've never actually owned Taurus but my cousin has and I've shot a few of his they're all pretty good guns. But as I'm a old guy my eyes are not what they used to be. And so I'll never buy another gun which I can't put a red dot on. Which when they sai/d this was a feature Rich gun I assumed that's what they're talking about but no. So I got to pass it up.

  8. Been nice if he would have said what type sites it has are they adjustible, he said it was feature rich and then started telling what features it didn't have like no optics cut no changeable rear strap and it holds less rounds than the g4 he was comparing it to. is it single action or double you showed us it will fire but didn't show us if it will hit.

  9. I have owned two Taurus g2c 9mm pistols
my son in law has one of the two now and he loves it as I do mine . with my reloads they are running flawlessly and accurately . I highly recommend them. I want a g2c in 40 sw. it would be awesome if Taurus put out a 45acp about the size of the g2c. papa ๐Ÿ˜Š

  10. Well, Taurus, screwed this pistol up by making it use GX four mags instead of the Sigg 226 mags Iโ€™ll never own one cause I have too many G3โ€™s and G twos and they use the same magazines so why buy a gun that looks good, but you have to get different magazines for it Stupid of Taurus.

  11. I own several Taurus pistols. I find the GX4 shoots very low and left for me. The TH9 shoots low. The accuracy on the G2c, G3, and G3c are fine. I'm interested in seeing the accuracy of the GX2. A view of the targets after each mag would have been helpful. To me, if a gun isn't accurate it isn't worth much.

  12. I ordered at a Stainless Steel and Black model from KGC for $262.63 shipped.
I went with the SS because the Brazil manufacturer are notorious for cheap finishes on their G2C and G3C type models. Other reviewers have noted this for the GX2.
