Increase your pickup range for faster level ups.
see so many of you players just running around not mining, you do realize you absolutely needs gold and nitra to upgrade between stages? other minerals to upgrade after you die? you won't increase in strength if you don't mine. I've seen 1 player who mine out nearly the whole map each time and was able to get 5 upgrades between each stages.
I'm a big VS genre fan but its easy to lose interest in them for a while. Until now. deep breath My body is ready.

COLLECT GOLD AND NITRA to level up after each level of the zone….
COLLECT XP i swear you were picking up 10% of what dropped.
GET MILESTONES to unlock more weapons….
Weapon RANGES you kept getting too far away from bosses so nothing was being shot by you.
"cant aim" yes you can… tooltips says what the weapon will be firing at.
All stats were in bottom right when on the menu screen in grey for each single stat I think from what I saw. Hope it helps

I noticed that the gold and nitra are to purchase your between run upgrades. So harvesting those two minerals in addition to your goals is probably the way to go.

Dude, get resources. Upgrade weapons. You are playing it like DRG, skipping everything but the necessary.
This isn't that.
This requires ALL the xp gold and nitra possible. You are leaving it all everywhere.
Play it like vampire survivors. Not DRG.
The game is amazing. It just needs a different playstyle. Loop around your enemies, get xp. make your paths through rocks go through the goodies.
Don't complete objective till you have a chunk of resources.
When mission completes, you have to bail instantly leaving everything you had on the ground.
You are essentially under leveled. massively. Look at the upgrade more than just %damage, but weapon level as well.
When choosing your upgrades, pay attention to the icons. Look at the bottom right for information about your current build.
