I don’t even wear chemical spf on my face bc of the eye sting but I’m still watching because I love your sense of humor in your commentary on these products. 😂 regarding cayskin: it’s wild that the mineral sunscreen left a stronger cast on my medium-brown skin than on your richer skin tone! Mineral sunscreens wear so differently on different skin types and tones it’s impossible to predict how it’ll look on you based on how it looks on someone else.
I tried the Eucerin Age Defense too! Did you notice how fast the dry down is on it? It went from spreadable to CEMENTED on my skin in like 5 seconds and it's frustrating lol

This is a first. I’ve tried several of these sunscreens. I like shimmer because I can’t be bothered to wear makeup. I am so happy that the ones I tried leave a glow with out greasiness. Also, I’m so surprised these chemical sunscreens didn’t burn my eyes. So, ThankYouFarmer shimmer, Cay Skin Isle Glow and Tula Protect+Glow have been great.
I’ve been using mineral because they usually don’t burn my eyes but these chemical ones are stepping up their game.

Thank you! I’m given up on mineral sunscreens. I’ve yet to find one that doesn’t make me look gray. I only wear them if I’m on a beach for extra protection
I'm currently using the Tula I love the glow that it gives me under my foundation. They have a mineral one I haven't tried yet because I'm happy with the gel.
Chemical sunscreens all the way! Mineral sunscreens dry me out a bit or cause tiny bumps.
Yea older black people look at me crazy when I say I need to reapply my sunscreen but the younger ones get it especially If they have dark marks
People say mineral spfs don't sting your eyes?! Chileeeeeee the worst eye burning I've experienced has been from a particular mineral spf. Why does it seem like there are so many myths to make mineral spfs sounds good/better than organic filters? Just use what you like enough to use properly.
Hello Boo! I use chemical sunscreens from Japan & Korea. I have not found a mineral one that I like. I might check out the Eucerin age defense one. Cheers Beautiful!

Oil sunscreen: Nope. Strong fragrant sunscreen: Nope. Silicone feel sunscreen: Nope. Mineral showing white cast sunscreen: Definitely Nope. What I want. Fragrance free, EO free, alcohol free, water resistant sunscreen that's lightweight. HARD AF to find. 😭
Please try the coola refreshing water cream Spf. It’s chemical but it seems really elegant & light. Also the mad hippie Spf 30+ serum!! It’s mineral but looks promising since it’s a serum texture, it might just work for dark skin.
I just bought the tula sunscreen when it was on sale at Ulta last month and I like it. I gives me a glow without being greasy.
Thanks for sharing. I searched your videos for the Cetaphil daily oil free moisturizer with SPF 35 but it didn’t come up. Have you tried it? It’s lightweight lotion with antioxidants and some other good ingredients. Best of all It has no cast . I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I’m using biossance sunscreen and it’s the best I’ve tried on my face. And I don’t need a moisturizer since it has squalene I’m good. But it’s not good when working out or for summer. I’m looking into trying Mele oil so we shall see! I don’t think you’ve tried that one but I did see you mention it so I’ll take that as a sign lol. Thank you again!
I just tried the supergoop every single face and it left me sooooo greasy, I also thought it was going to be similar to Korean and Japanese sunscreens and I was highly disappointed. I will go back to Unseen or try the Peter Roth!

I tried the coola and it does leave a cast on my skin. My foundation shade match is too faced chai if that’s helps anyone. I love the scent of this product but the pearlescence is too much for brown skin.

I love the Eucerin sunscreen, it’s perfect for Texas weather. However I buy the European version, which I think spreads a bit better. I normally only buy Japanese and Korean sunscreens but glad I gave the Eucerin a try.
I have stuck primarily to mineral sunscreen b/c of my melasma but I really wanna try SuperGoop! I may try Wiinnie's line too. I'm also interested in trying Tula.

I wanna try to Eucerin so bad. I’m oily all year round 24/7 even in my sleep 😂. Can’t find it anywhere in nyc and refuse to order online. I’m hesistant because I see no claims of water resistance and that scared me for the summer. I sweat bullets. All this to say, imma still buy it and add it to my stash 😭😂 thanks for the video of course!
My fave spf I've been using for over a year now is bondi sands face spf 50+, no weird cast, moisturising, I really like it! I feel like it gives the skin a nice glow too

Thank you so much this was a excellent video and like you said to get our people are people are are stubborn let you know that son is not playing right now you know I’m medium brown skinned on the caramel complete color golden under tones but I’m still in the medium area but the UVs are getting so bad I’m starting to burn I’m turning red and I’m peeling which that has never been an issue for me growing up saying I just I won’t play with the sun. I still tan we’re out in the water on the light in the boat constantly and I still tan like I normally always do I just don’t burn to death and it’s nice guy use Hawaiian tropic face sunscreen it doesn’t cause me any burning and it’s more of a do we look for a little while and then it evens out but it does not give me a cast or ashiness and I love my Manantial radiance comes out just fine eyewear inside outside every day

Yes Miss Gray, I had The watery every.single face and it greasy yes. The Alcohol had me at first and shine catch me later but guess what I would use this during the winter months. Not Shug Knight,LOL
I heard Cay-Skin sucks and is a scam. Could be wrong though.
My holy grail sunscreen is the La Roche Posay Shaka SPF 50+ fragrance free sunscreen and also the new Uvmune one. I did try a sample of the Eucerin Oil Control sunscreen that my derm gave me and I really liked it too. I have oily skin. I applied moisturizer, waited for it to absorb and then applied the Eucerin.

BIOSSANCE has the best moisturizers and sunscreen.
I use super goop I like the shiny look and it doesn’t leave a white cast but I do something different by putting Vaseline on first then put the sunscreen
I use chemical, I'm afraid of having a cast lol
