  1. They seem to love layering Myles voice as a way to add more background vocals, it happens in a lot of Alter Bridge songs.

    And you were spot on with Jeff Buckley, as Myles said himself the guy's one of his biggest influences in general

    BTW, I loved how giddy you got listening to this song 😁

  20. Just gonna put this here, I think you would LOVE Volbeat, the singer, Michael Poulsen has a very unique voice (Elvis, Johnny Cash, Metallica) and they have the best live performances!

  27. One band I wouldn't mind seeing get analyzed is a Swedish metalcore band called Dead By April. One song that I would recommend is "For Every Step" featuring guest singer Tommy Korberg, who I think is more known for musical theatre performances (if memory serves me correctly). His vocals in the song remind me of Meat Loaf to an extent with what sound like slides and a couple high notes in the second verse.
