Factually incorrect. While there are obviously plastics in the ocean–there is no floating garbage patch the size of France. Also most of the waste is from fishing and poor nations.

He's right. Climate change and sustainable energy is one of the few issues I think Democrats were better on, but they hardly talk about it lately, and accomplish even less.
Kamala wasn't going to be any better for the environment, they're both awful on this issue, which is one of the few reasons I might have considered voting for her, while being much worse for other issues like first & second Ammendment rights, government waste, illegal immigration, crime, and DEI and gender nonsense.

We can use nets to catch fish… but we can't use nets to catch all the floating plastics in the oceans? 🤔 I get it, the plastic microbes that are there right now might be impossible to get rid of… but why not at least get rid of the large floating chunks of plastic before that turns into microbes too?

The problem is….every since the very first Earth Day in 1970(?), we have been continuously and consistently lied too vis-a-vis the environment. There is not one single Doomsday-End-of-the-World environmentalist warning of catastrophic end-of-life-as-we-know-it events by a single one of these so-called "Environmentalist" which has E V E R come true.
