Taking a look at Broken Arrow. A large-scale real-time modern warfare tactics game. Army building system. From a new Developer! The unit list and level of control is very impressive. This Demo is HARD!

But what if, StarWars mod XD
Looken good was thinking of getting this myself
Feels far too fast. This was the issue I had with Wargame.
This looks SO good ! I am so happy for the RTS genre, I hope we'll see more of Broken Arrow
Even the cinematics use the same art style as World in Conflict
I was skeptical about this game when the only trailers they had were barebones, but this video has sold me on the game so far especially with the intro camera panning looking exactly like World in Conflict. Ammo situation looks arbitrarily low, and that's not really something I like in RTS games.
I'm liking the look of this. I like Wargame: Red Dragon and Steel Division but the maps are always one big open square, feels like you have to always manage everything. This feels much more manageable and fun. Also looking forward to how moddable this is gonna be, can't wait for Halo, Star Wars, Mass Effect mods and so on. Gonna play the demo before Steam Next Fest ends!
This feels very reminiscent of steel division, just without the deck building and the dynamic front line and los mechanics, one to watch indeed.
I've tried playing this, and within seconds of loading into the demo, GPU maxed at 100% and I ended up being too scared to play at that point
I just wish it was less gamey, more realistic and unforgiving, im a hard core milsim guy and the heavy attention to detail is something i appreciate especially after my time in the army i started paying a lot more attention to things
Now just needs a star wars, warhammer, mass effect or halo mod
when you click on your unit there is base bottom on the bottom right If you click on it It will return the unit home And you will get money from it.
random thing but I think I never saw an RTS using that area as a map before
Developer is a supporter of the Russian invasion, so it's a no go for me.
This mission shows why a battleship like warship is still necessary in a modern battle. these marines could have really used a counter battery fire from a ship off shore.
Watched the video…..as you said we all should try this demo I had JUST clicked the download demo button on steam.
I missed World in Conflict so much and watched Red Dawn last night randomly, what are the odds.
Trees don't break line of sight unless you enter the forest and sometimes enemies will still keep engaging you. Also who else was facepalming when shack sent his mortar to the front line lol Never change cap never change. edit also your points income drops based on casualties. More losses=Less income=Less reinforcements. Kinda cool in my opinion.
The perfect balance between World in Conflict and Wargame.
When I played this demo I was completely unaware you could call in troops so I made it to the second objective before being wiped using only the starting troops xD
Worth mentioning; you can use supplies to both heal/repair and rearm your units. Before the crossing you could have thrown a few thousand kg of supplies on a truck and dropped them. Units in a radius resupply, as shown. But you can also then pick up the supplies you haven't used to move them elsewhere!
Russian army was vaguely competent, immersion ruined. Unsubbed
Whats is this aspect ratio? Its terrible for mobile 🙁
I tried the demo and didn't like it. It is NOT like World in Conflict, it's much more like the Wargame series.
buy this game I don't need to buy any more RTS game set in the cold war era for 2-3 years, but I can't guarantee in 5 years
Okay now that is out of the way for this game you need to move your infantry between buildings like your life depende on it! if not well you unit gonna die pretty fast.
World in conflict is an amazing RTS and gave me the great feeling of artillery I needed
Shack skips briefing where they say there is a tank company. "They lied to me! They said there was only one tank!!!"
Everyday I hope for a new Empire at war just to get me through, and so often I just get…this.
World in Conflict was one of the best games no one has played. That and Ground Conflict are still at the top of my list. I'm gonna keep an eye on this one
hey just wondering if theres a fix going out to empire at war or the mods because i dont think anyone can play it with mods rn. Edit: nvm they fixed it. Ik im slow cause I forgot or didn’t know you could call in more troops😂, this games looks like a blast and I can’t wait for it to come out
A definite buy.
Hope there’s building destruction
I hope it'll have the amazing cutscenes of WiC
RTS return with a vengeance
With a name like that, it had better either be featuring nukes as a critical plot point or heavily feature them as actual usable weapons, since Broken Arrow is code for accidents involving nuclear weapons.
Not a fan of the aspect ratio in this video :/
EDIT: Also audio desync.
you need some practise in your assaults, move overlapping and secure sector by sector
Not much of a "fort" if the enemy can just WALK their infantry straight up next to your guys…
WoC is one of my fave strategy games. When I saw this on Steam it gave me modern WoC vibes and I was down for that. Sadly the Demo didn't include a tutorial. So I quickly gave up for now, will defo try again at it's full release.
For example how clueless I was: I didn't know prior this video that you could call in units in the demo. I though that was a locked feature and you had to make use of the units you spawn with.
This game looks like a new Wargame: Red Dragon WAY more than World in Conflict. Its practically beat for beat.
I HAVE WAITED SO LONG FOR A NEW WORLD IN CONFLICT! If this is the same style and feel I'm going to love it
This looks promising. While you wait for this to come out, there is a free, open source spiritual successor to total annihilation / supcomc called Beyond all Reason you may want to check out.
9:00 Typical ShackFU
and he gets everyone killed, as expected
Same thing happened to me my forst time playing the demo had the point and lost it and couldn't get it back. This game seems like it's gonna be good and challenging
Dude this rules, I immediately had to put this on my wishlist for steam.
This looks tons of fun. I look forward to seeing you play because I am hilariously bad at it. 😀
This is the kind of long-form pushing and bunkering up I wanted to see from an SW: Empire At War sequel. (That and Battlefront style direct control mechanics, along with multiplayer unit sharing from Warhammer 3) It would be the perfect Star Wars RTS, IMO.
Great video! This game looks so awesome, was great to watch
check out Sanctuary Shattered Sun, some of the people who did supreme commander are working on it, supposedly it'll have over 1000 units on map
