The story seems interesting but one one thing I can't wait for is the gameplay trailer and seeing the creature designs especially since the Xenoverse Team has some of the best designs on monsters!
Like Green Lantern cores, that’s what these attributes remind me of.

To me it sounded a bit as if the monsters change based on the persons nature or something.
Then I had to think back to Pokemon Conquest for some reason.

I see them more like representations of emotion / status, like in the movie Inside Out: you have Joy, Sadness, Wrath, Fear… and then Balance/Apathy (that fits better than Disgust/Hate). I imagine that the monsters will change their appearance depending on "trainer's" attitude, perhaps even more times during the same battle. It's very similar to a old idea I had (but I have no coding abilities, so I'm happy someone capable is doing it haha). Anyway, it seems interesting!

Speculation: having malleable monsters that shift job type depending on owner/trainer I feel like the selection of monsters will be limited but the blend of job types has potential.
Also think it would be interesting if the ability to trade is there to see how they change
