  1. hell yeah! the most scuffed pokemon game with the dumbest looking pokemon getting more!?! edit: i must say at the very least the ability to get your character out of that god awful dorky school uniform is a massive improvement if thats a thing

  2. Agree with you on Pokémon. I’ve been underwhelmed by it considering the size of the company. As for the National Dex I wish it was just in the game from start to finish, they are proper Pokémon. I have found I don’t connect with the new Pokémon on the same level, so not being able to get my old squads together I find I put down the game much quicker than previous games. I’m not interested in trading to get what I’ve already caught in previous years etc. They may need a touch of a revamp but they are what people loved, the original Pokémon.

  3. I hate that this is going to be a new "feature" in pokemon games that they release a mediocre expierence and then release 2 dlc's to get even more money out of people only for 2 years later do it again with even more features cut. I am not the biggest fan of open world games so my oppinion op pokemon has definitly gone down over the years but this is just sad. I agree with you that adding old pokemon is not a feature and I would love for them to stop pretending it is.

  4. i stopped supporting nintendo altogether at the exact moment they announced Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. I had just spent 300 bucks of my country's currency getting Sun and Moon for the 3DS. I felt cheated then. On top of Nintendo being extremely expensive in my country since they aren't officiially operating here. ALL their goods here are imported/heavily taxed due to my country's backwards laws. And honestly? i'm happier now, gaming on PC, through Steam, and i've had more fun with indie games than i've had with Nintendo ones at this point. I only watched the direct to see what was being announced from third parties that might also come to PC. I hold a lot of nostalgia toward Pokémon, and I still like to check to see new pokémon designs every new Gen, but to me nostalgia is just not enough. I'm in my 30's and my time is limited, my energy is limited, i can only game for so long before i start burning out/getting actually physically tired. I don't have time (and specially no money) for Nintendo.

  5. Very underwhelmed by Teal Mask. However, Indigo Disk looks promising. I'm excited for that safari zone area. Hoping we will get access to safari and sport balls to increase some ball legality. But overall it's kinda sad that the thing I'm most excited about is a free friend ball from the mystery gift code lol. I can't be bothered to worry too much about it since nothing else matters after Super Mario RPG remake announcement.

  6. This shit about being a pokemon hater is kinda childish. I don't think expect quality from the most succesful and profitable monster taming franchise is wrong, in fact we should demand it, because they have resources to do a high standard game and they purposefully don't make it

  7. Okie-dokie, hunky-dory, and serendipity are the words those three Pokemon were based on. Not a fan. Sounds dumb to me. I'm sure whoever came up with those names thought they were really clever, though.

  8. Color me surprised, Pokemon being at a Nintendo Direct usually doesn’t happen. Ive really warmed up to the Teal Mask mascot it looks cool in game. Also Detective Pikachu 2 I’m glad for seeing more of it

  9. Dropped off of sword and shield dlc hard and the performance of scarlet and violet still hasn't been addressed these factors combined add up to me not bothering with this dlc.

  10. The only thing I like about the DLC is that turtle thing. I think it's really pretty. But the DLC is a hard pass for me. I bought the DLC for Sw/Sh and wasn't impressed. And this game has the ugliest Pokemon so I don't want more ugly Pokemon.

  11. Wow. I am wondering about just how bad the glitches will be, considering how bad the base games are.

And just so you know. Fezendipity rhymes with serendipity.

  12. The DLC still looks the same as the base game but it was nice seeing gameplay the only disappointment I have is lack of new Pokemon considering the last we got all we had was 5-6 new Pokemon most of them were Legendary Pokemon why can't we get more new regular Pokemon instead of charging 35$ for just a few new Pokemon.

  13. Neither of them are really grabbing me still, so atm I'm not anticipating buying Hidden Treasure. I'd rather SV fixed more than get this dlc. I also would've rather dlc that expanded upon Area Zero and a chance to go to Kalos. So these to me are just kinda boring looking in terms of concepts.

  14. 5:22 – how many times do we have to say that you don't have to pay for these Pokemon?! they are added to the game for free, what you are paying for is the ability to catch them in these new areas, but you can obtain them for free via transfer or trade.

  15. I'm always gonna be a pokemon fan at heart, but scarlet was the nail in the coffin for the mainline series (for me anyways). I'm gonna dig the Gen 5 remakes when we get them ofcourse and play any new Legends, Let's Go!, and/or other spin offs. S/V was just a terrible wreck with so many ruined and missed opportunities… the new pokemon aren't very awesome either…

  16. At this point I just pay attention to pokemon for the amusing reviews. It’s better just to play fan games. The popular ones tend to have more polish than the official ones these days.
