  1. They don't necessarily want you to only use venti in the fight, its more of an easy option for those who struggle with the fight, but when you unlock this boss fight as a weekly fight, you have to do it without venti unless you have him, so the boss is very much fine to kill with normal characters, you just got hit hard early on, and then only used venti from there, which is fine, he is there to be used if needed. but he does make the fight super easy. Id suggest trying the weekly version of the boss to see how hard its actually meant to be. Its not super hard, but its also not just a walk in the park early on.

  2. I find it funny you question why Dvalin looks like Falcor. I mean… They are both dragons. Big, long, noodle bodies flying through the sky isn't that weird for dragons to have.

  3. Now you got some loose ends to clean up and then you’ll be on your way to the City of Contracts, Liyue. Also, Dvalin and the giant wolf should now be weekly bosses and it’s good for leveling up your characters talents. Finally, remember what Venti said about letting the winds guide you in your journey

  4. Venti is like Lisa in that they immediately do the work that actually requires them to be the ones doing it while staying unreliable enough to not be expected to do anything else. The trick is you haven't seen anything besides Monstadt and Venti is very subtle – his mask is much less obvious than, say, Xiao's – so you haven't had any chance to realize what problems other places have that Monstadt doesn't, and how much work over the millenia must have gone into making it that way. (Also, Venti is a very good sport whenever the big joke turns out to not be his; he appreciates manipulation as a story-creating art form even when he's among the victims. …I intended that referencing some event-focused storylines, but…)

Fun note about "Stormterror's Lair": a previous visitor strategically destroyed the place further to make your trip much more convenient. (She wrote about it in passing, in a series of commercially unsuccessful booklets aimed at the offworld tourism market.) And while it isn't relevant just yet, it is important that we've come and explored here rather than just "flown in". Both for us, and for Venti.

You're not far from finding out a little bit more about what's happening to Lumine in this fork of the storyline. (Supposedly both siblings canonically inhabit both roles in this story. So far this seems possible.) In general, most of the victory parties in this game will be private affairs – while photography and newspapers exist in this setting you'll be more heard about than recognized on sight by the average person, and later on your deeds will graduate from "bardic license was employed playing the telephone game to relate them" to "actually, maybe it's better that most people never even hear this threat existed". You're forging a lot of important personal relationships more than becoming a celebrity.

While I don't want to spoil anything, your next little journey after finishing up the immediate business in Monstadt will turn out to be a surprisingly lengthy trip by your current standards, you will not be given explicit directions, and supposedly will be in a hurry (traveling with Paimon is kind of fuzzing out the precise timing and ordering of events to your vast benefit)… so for when you need to find a major trade center and seaport: It's worth keeping in mind that important places tend to be connected by roads. Once you're on a road facing south with the very big and cold mountain on your LEFT (I do not advise going over it or around in the other direction just now), just keep following that road south. You'll go right by a very scenic inn where canonically you'll have stopped to meet the residents of. Do so or don't (right then – it is an interesting and significant place, well worth studying), and keep following the road south – it'll safely take you all the way. Of course, you can totally explore almost everywhere right away if that's your thing, but the story will take you to most of these places anyway and with greater context for the exploration.

  5. Hope you make longer videos.. there are people who are not into watching streams like me and only watch youtube videos of their playthrough's.. and genshin content is heavily focus on story and lore and also exploration is big part of game aswell and many people love seeing the reaction of newer cc when exploring the world of genshin.. also many cc uploaded their story playthrough almost to no edit like 2-3hrs long and theyre still love by the community.. seeing heavily edited playthrough of genshin feels kinda ungenuine not saying that youre not playing honestly but not including some of the part of the story is kinda feels like that.. love your reaction to everything tho hope you include more of your journey.

  6. I strongly disliked Venti in the beginning as well. He is very manipulative, but he does it mostly to find a solution without harming anyone. I think he wants to be the benevolent guide that leads people to doing the right thing, but he is a bit too scheming for it. And, it doesn't help that he also pawns off the work to those people.
Also, with time I came to understand that gods think very different from humans in certain regards, and are very locked into their ways. They also have their own vices due to being so unmoving. I also suspect that he is far stronger than he lets on.

  7. You should probably cook some revival and healing food, just in case one of your characters gets killed again. The game pauses when you go into the inventory so you can safely use food to revive and heal your characters in the middle of the fight.
