A huge amount of my progress has been reset. Bases have disappeared from the teleport menu, quests have been reset, and more. I am rather frustrated, because this is the first game breaking bug I have encountered in my 500+ hours of play.
I was hoping against hope that they just forgot to add the new ramps on accident lol

on reddit people playing no mans sky had trouble with there ps5 over heating while in the nexus.
Reported a bug where I transport from the freighter bridge to one of my frigates. All that remained of the frigate is a landing pad; nothing else. Flew back into my hangar bay to find all my ships are gone.
Restarted the game to get the ships back, then submitted the form. Hope they're on it. Those frigates ain't gonna repair themselves.
WTF happened to all if my building pieces on my freighter??
Suddenly I have nothing.
No doors, no windows, no stairs, ladders, nothing but a singular hallway.
WTF???
Xbox patch is out
I've loaded in my game and can't get to any of my freighter other than the dock and bridge. There's a wall/door preventing access to the rest of my build. I did do a lot of glitch building on mine and added a large number of parts that shouldn't be on a freighter.. I still have access to all my storage bays etc so haven't lost any of my materials. Will need to move all items to my base and then reset my freighter. Not too concerned as want to look into using the new freighter parts.

Another couple of issues I’ve found are; if you build too many of the multiple freighter planter rooms next to each other, certain plants end up with infinity grow times and never grow.
Also, if you put too many freighter atmosphere collector thingies together, they’ll randomly start their collecting process over, and you’ll lose everything it collected… I did see a new freighter base tour made a few hours ago, and his had collected nothing… so they may just be buggy in general…
Also; they fixed the starship solar regeneration… but I’m not so sure they fixed the exocraft solar regeneration… we will see… all solar regeneration was a problem after the update.

Freighter base build menu first page. [Freighter Construction] Core Freighter Modules, still bugged. I don't have any other parts except Corridor in that menu.

My freighter won't fully render until I use the Portal in the Anomaly (oddly) – I got trapped in it a couple times and had to reload

One thing I absolutely love about this update is that now when you mine things not only does it tell you how many you mined as it always has but now in the icon it says how many you have in total

Hello Games is one of the best developers there is.
I've been playing since it was first released on the PS4 in 2016 and have over6,000 hour's invested. And have learned since day one, any release is alway's followed up almost immediately by a patch. Thus have learned to wait until it's releaase before downloading and installing a new upgrade. Tis ironic how Sean and his company got SO much flalk in the way the game was originally released, but unlike Sean who state he would fix any and all issue's, please wait. The rest of the gaming industry are releasing games not done. And take a month or longer to fix aka patch things.
The only issue I'm haveing is for what ever reason, I'm having trouble getting things to snap into position and though I'll probable get used to it. I don't like the new freighter's inside's. OH yeah, I forgot, upon each and every new update, I do a fresh restart of the game.

As a fan of survival games, HG has to be the best, most responsive, developer in the genre.
I have been playing Ark for many years, and now Wild Card is making a sequel without actually fixing a lot of issues with the first game. Not to mention that they are describing this sequels as souls like with assassins Creed parkour, and no first person. Why would you want to make a sequel so drastically different? The people that are interested in a sequel are fans of the original. We want ark, but better. Not a dark souls 3rd person only with Ark window dressing. Imagine if Hello Games decided to make a souls like sequels….

But they are hotfixes. All hotfixes are patches. Not all patches are hotfixes. A hotfix is just a patch that fixes bugs and it's not set asset in a separate branch of the code until new features have been completed. Using the term hotfix is good for setting expectations.

Tell them to take the F**Kin Time to realize that ummmmmm……… This is 2022 so there are these lil controllers that they invented like 50 or 60 years ago that lets you……… get this ……..emulate flight controls….they call it a "flight stick" but in pilot talk a "Yoke" . Modernizing a game that kinda surrounds the Emphasis of "FLIGHT" and was out during the time of "fight sticks" kinda cuts out an important percentage of sales. Because when i was buying the game i asked if peripherals could be used and i was told "no", other than v.r Luckily I had vr or i would have never bought this game and not everyone can afford vr but flight sticks are like 30 bucks for cheapos so yea great sales diversity.
Are we still waiting on this patch for Xbox? Still, nothing is growing on my freighter using the new grow rooms.
