  1. BGMWSS: on the new patch, TVP, always engage when you think it's a bad idea and run when you think you should engage! A perfect arena to test your theory that you always make the wrong call.

  2. I personally hope for more patches like that and patches that go further than this. XvsZ felt kinda crappy for such a long time and the minor patches don't change how the game looks and feels. Yes they changes the balance slightly on the highest level. But it's still hard to watch Zerg dominate every lategame for years.

  3. The game should be kept dynamic with both unit reworks and changing map pools with more interesting maps. Maps have become so sterile and formulaic. The only current map variation that has the potential to influence strategy for the vast majority of players (e.g. below high Masters) is whether or not there is a ramp at the natural. The two most interesting maps in the last few years have been Golden Wall and Purity and Industry, but nothing like this will ever come back. At the highest level, unusual maps might be imbalanced, for example an island base or two-pylon cannon rush wall. But for us regular players, these possibilities are fun. It gives us so many more ways to keep the game fresh with the same tools. I look forward to being able to submit an IODIS complaint for a map instead of a unit! And fun maps don’t need to be used in tournaments—the tournament pool could be a subset of the ladder pool.

  4. Out of everything I ever expected from Harstem, singing Bad Romance on the Monster Energy planet map was not one of them. Something I didn't know I needed so much until it happened. Full cover of Bad Blink when?

  5. This first match made me soooo mad! Harshen in your last video you went on and on about how zealots are balls against the new cyclones and you proceed to build nothing but zealots against your opponent and you get kited all game by the cyclones. Take your own advice

  6. your instinct that armor should be good against this cyclone is correct. with just +1 armor against no damage upgrades, the current proposed Cyclone will go from ~22.4 DPS to ~20.3, which is nearly a 10% reduction in DPS. before, the Cyclone would go from ~25.35 dps to ~23.94, which is not quite as much at about a 6% reduction in DPS. overall, armor affects this proposed Cyclone a decent amount more than it does the previous Cyclone, and that's not even considering that Lock On no longer ignores armor.

for comparison, a couple other units that are heavily affected by armor are the Marine (without stim), going from ~9.83 to ~8.19 dps which is an 18% decrease, and Battlecruisers (against air targets) which go from ~31.25 to 25 which is a 20% decrease in DPS from 1 damage reduction. so this new Cyclone is definitely more in the middle of the road in terms of possible DPS reductions, but at the same time it is still decently more affected by it now than it was before.

  7. This is cool, and it makes me happy to see some decently-sized changes to the game!
I'm just afraid that before this goes live, ppl will already know the counter from watching yours and other streamers' videos 😀 This mech looks broken when you don't know the response to it.
