  1. Have you tried adding some coins on top of the de-railing Dapol and see if it runs, then try and add the same amount of weight but hidden. Plus, I'd try getting some cheap black curtains made up to cover the shelves, that just runs on net curtain wires.

  2. This will be a fun project! I don’t blame you for ditching TT, I think Hornby screwed that scale over from the start when they competed against Heljan (meaning there is only one company making locos) and also because they chose TT120 and not standard British TT meaning that Hornby’s TT is much closer to the size of N Gauge than somewhere between OO and N.

Just curious, what are you doing with the OO9 layout, it doesn’t really look like you have room for it?

Great video as always, looking forward to more!

  3. Can’t wait to see this come together the plans look fantastic. I’ve never seen a 3D plan before but that’s a work of art in itself! Thanks too for the kind words about the videos mate, glad they could bring some inspiration. If you ever want any pictures of something specific round here let me know 👍🏻

  4. Very glad to see you’ve found your mojo for OO again, James. Looking forward to seeing how this version progresses as it has a few similarities with my own. Like yours (and thanks to my experience with the Underground years ago) mine is designed with operations in mind. The geographical setting is fantasy, though.

  5. I'm looking forward to following your progress with this build. I've recently been rewatching your 009 build with my grandson, as he is soon to be making a start on one. It's certainly inspired him, and just out of interest, he's done a couple planning and design clinics with Paul A Lunn, working on his 009 plan. I guess once he gets started, he'll be posting updates of his progress on his Dylington Model Railway channel, which at the moment features his 00 layout. I must say he's not doing a bad job of filming it. Give it a watch if you get the chance. Comments turned off for his protection due to his age (12). Anyway, he's subscribed to your channel……cheers James 🙂👍
