  1. Did you pick up that Kate Bush vinyl? I was just in Red Wing, MN and stopped at Vyntage Vinyl. Picked up a stack of CDs: Brian Setzer, Contraband, Allison Moyet, Howard Jones, Jodi Whatley, The Jets, Dire Straits, Guided by Voices. Only my 2nd time at V.V. I'll definitely be back. THX!

  2. I've had a copy of that Make A Difference Foundarion cd… I think since high school. A nice collection of covers.

My last cd that I got was Znowhite's Act Of God. I got the 2007? limited edition remaster.

Nor cd related, but last week I bought my 2nd guitar. Got an Epiphone Les Paul Traditional IV in a worn Pacific blue.

  3. Hi Brendon
Some really cool finds on this episode. It’s funny we say we are not going to make a purchase today and we walk out with a handful.. lucky day!
I went and browsed today and found some really cool cds myself . Today’s lucky find , Jimi Hendrix “Woodstock” and Roy Buchanan $2 each. Have a great day.

  4. No trip to the record store this time around, but I managed to find an unexpected CD at Dollar Tree for $1.25. It was Glenn Tipton/John Entwistle/Cozy Powell's 2006 posthumous (Cozy passed in 1998 and Ox left us in 2002, but recorded months before Cozy's untimely death) sophomore release "Edge Of The World" on Rhino/Warner Records, which I am definitely sure you already own. Totally surprise find…especially at Dollar Tree. Haven't listened, yet, but will dig into it soon.

  5. Hello I am from Tampa and here we have a store called Sound Exchange also, which I love, the only thing that I am always afraid to go there because I end up spending millions!

  6. Hi Brendon seen your Facebook section on CDs & box sets not up to standard ie The new Blondie box sets maybe you could extend this to a video session? I am interested to find out what people would most likely go for when there 5 different versions of a release thanks Paul Dublin 🇮🇪

  7. There was mostly vinyl at the record convention I went to today, would have been a full day if I was into it. I still found 18 CDs, though. Some cool finds including: Dare – Belief, Girlschool – Take A Bite, 4x John Mellencamp, Roxette – Pearls Of Passion, The Storm – The Storm, Toto – Falling In Between, and Twisted Sister – Stay Hungry (hard one to find for a decent price, got for ~$3)

  8. I wore my B-52s concert tee shirt to work yesterday. Someone told me a B-52s joke:
"Were you 18 when Love Shack was released? This means you will B 52.
This is actually true. I was 18 & I will be 52 in December 😊
I also received a used record from my favorite online record store. Side Kick by the Thompson Twins. I ❤ this store because the records are in such good condition.

  9. If you want to take a deeper dive into Alvin Lee check out his album Zoom it has the late great Jon Lord on keys on a few tracks. Apparently they were neighbors in the 70’s. Captain approved!

  11. The standalone used prices are egregious at sound exchange so I only buy in clumps of five there… Which can sometimes be a challenge finding five things I want. They really should reduce all the CDs to a flat $6 each or something like that. I've seen certain titles there literally sitting on the shelf for decades… A flat used pricing approach might move some more product.

  12. Hey Brendon. Great finds!! The drum madness on the Make a Difference if I recall right was Jason Bonham and some other drummers playing Moby Dick by John Bonham and some other solo pieces. And yes it was all the bands and Jason Bonham who were on the Moscow Peace fest. And they were covering artists that had passed away from drugs and alcohol. Thanks for another great vid. Have a great day.

  13. Hey Brendon, really enjoy the videos! I have a question not related to new music, hope that's cool. I collect a number of different things including CDs and I find that I am bringing my obsession with condition (from collecting comics) to CD collecting. The fact that I buy mostly used cds this is becoming a problem. light scratches and scuffs that do not affect the play of the cds just bug the crap out of me! I end up passing up great deals on great cds because they are not in pristine condition. How picky are you when it comes to used cds? What are your opinions on condition when you are collecting CDs? Thanks for your advice!
