NEW Moira Ability Rework! – Mercy Super Jump in ANY Direction!



Blizzard just released a new Overwatch 2 Beta Patch adding in some new abilities to a few support heroes, Moira now has an Enfeeble orb, Necrotic orb that applies a weaken status effect to an enemy and Mercy gets a movement boost meter while using Guardian Angel that allows her a burst of extra movement in any direction, ie super jump with more control.   1. The great thing about super jump was that you could go vertical while still looking at the battlefield. Now this is totally messed up. You have to look up to go up like winston then look at your teammates again to heal them. By the time you looked up did the jump look down again all their positions are changed and you need to figure out again where everyone is. This new jump stuff is very distracting. An other big nerf for her. When will it stop. Is the ow1 super jump still possible ? Didnt test it.

  2. Wtf are the devs smoking man, this is pretty much a lets make Moria zen, and mercy lucio aproach. Not innovative and it already steps on the toes of what other heros did good at. Zen was good at stat manipulation, lucio was the best at peeling, moria was always broken and elusive, and mercy sucked post mass rez and never found her identity inside ow1. They need to fix her kit ASAP. A super jump is low effort on what was a fun character that had impact.

  3. they need to readjust the numbers on Moira's ultimate with this change. The damage orb was absolutely necessary to eclipse damage limits and with it gone as you just showed a full ult can't kill a single roadhog taking all the damage without even using mitigation…. Either needs a rework or at the very least up the damage to the same value as the healing amount (think it's currently 110 h/s and 90 d/s).

  4. everything sounds terrible…

    at the actual state of the game build, if blizz.. just remove armor will do the same effect……

    tank is barely useless as a 'solo tier' and a 'naid like' on moira's kit is just a way to do nothing with her… reduce shes output damage/healing is even more strange, due to how low it is at ow1…

    im in a mixed bad feelings about this release…

  5. Either Blizzard doesn't play their own game anymore or Moira's new ability is an out of season April fool's joke. No wait they added bap Frisbe as an ability, not an ultimate. Blizzard doesn't play their game anymore.

  6. Oh goddamnit. Stop making Moira the most effective hero in the game. This hero is too good for how easy she is to use and we've been saying those exact words since she was released.

  7. They should better rework moira so she has to aim and not just is a character that can easily been played by 7 year olds. Also delete Roadhog at this point. Good heal, CC , One shot abillity even tho its a tank. No skill after all, everyone can aim this abillity also because its fucking broking too. A Tank that can one shot and heal, in any other game they would think the developers are rtarded, here its okay. Next up is a Rework for Reaper in my opinion because its literally a spam shoot press ultimate character that doesnt require any skill. Literally a baby can hop on him and kill some one with reaper. Then maybe nerf Soldiers healing field. makes him way too tanky and he can literally sustain himself so easy

  8. These are some solid changes, I can really appreciate the direction they took mercy's superjump as movement has always been the most intriguing part of her kit to me.

    I will say for Moira's ability rework – things the Devs keep implementing are skills that are so strong players just completely avoid interacting with them. Sure it's a long CD but if the rate of landing it is low anyway generally neither party gets all that much satisfaction from it.

    Also, I think ultimates are generally more fun to play/play against when they are some dynamic transformation over a Q-tap. It adds more depth to mastering a character but I do understand that the Cast Ultimates are great hype for new players

I can't stand for this change nobody asked for it typical OverWatch fix what's not broken how about just buff everybody else instead of typical Nerf everybody how about you keep working on doomfist bring back his uppercut every time he use block ability nobody respects it and symmetra and new characters wasted time development nobody asked for this.
