  1. Love the energy Rebecca, thank you. The LaMer reminds me of the Dior Lip Maximizer which I love!! I will stick to my Dior as they are already push pricey for me. Unless the LaMer would stay on all day doesn't appear there would be a reason to spend $.

  2. Actually la mer is available with discount all the time. Just not worth it even then. Btw Lauder and Clinique mix the same ingredients/tech in without the horrible fragrances (the og cream smells clean, but all the body stuff smells like a tasteless man)

  3. No no and no!!😂😂😂😂The LaMer is pricey😅, the packaging is not dpecial snd actually the Dior lipcase I just bought is beautiful and holds the refillsble lipsticks! This reminds me of Diorr Lip Addict! $90????
Nars isn't awful but unlike ND palettes or that spectacular vollab w Lancome which Lisa Eldridge created, it is not something which makes me want to purchase(and Im not a big shadow girl anyway!!!😂😂😂😂 Ty Rebecca for the work and you do and inviting what I am sure will be a lively exchange!!!😂😂😂😂

  4. You're almost there! 🎉🎉🎉 20' is right around the corner. 90$$ 😢 La Mer doesn't have me yet (thank the money fairies) I love Nars shadows… I have a couple doubles that will suffice yummiest brown satins… with a little Pat McGrath topper. Ugh, what to buy for LNY. I kinda liked the ABH highlighter…and the pretty little blush from Laura Mercier. That Bobbi Brown powder is something I don't have… 😅

  5. I thought the Nars palette was pretty, however I won’t be purchasing as I have enough eyeshadow palettes for now. As for the lip products, yes they are beautifully packaged and are pretty, but I can’t justify to myself spending $90 for a lip product.

  6. I don’t like minty lip products at all. It’s just as well because Miracle Broth is apparently out of my price range 😂 (So I stuck my fingers in my ears and didn’t hear at all that you don’t like minty lips, but this is mint done right. Nope I didn’t hear that at all.)

This NARS quad is REALLY appealing to me. Do I have similar things? Sure. Do I need it? No. Will I get it…quite possibly. It turns out I can’t get enough neutral quads with a touch of sparkle these days. The “elevated neutral” has my heart, if you will! It looks beautiful on you!!

  7. I guess I am happy that the La Mer product has fragrance in it since that prevents me from being tempted by it at all. I have really enjoyed the Nars palette and think that it is very on-trend in terms of "Peach Fuzz" being the Pantone color of the year and the Space Cowboy eyeshadow shades being so popular. Most of Nars' palettes have been too pink and too saturated for me, and this has been a nice change-of-pace.

  8. I see the quad at the website Nars Belgium, not yet in The Netherlands yet, but yes i want this quad, i love boring subtle stuff more and more, and it looks glorious on you, dear Rebecca!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 The lip treatment, not sure yet, since lots of lung meds, also meds i had to eat, my whole mouth and lips are so sensitive, it takes a while until i trust lip stuff. I love love love the intensive eye balm, WITH my sensitive eyes, that's all that comes in my memory right away when thinking about La Mer but that's skincare, this eyecream/eye balm is soooo soft and so good!!! La Mer is indeed hit or miss. A few years ago i had powder makeup from them, i could still handle that than, my face was less dry, Rebecca, the product was dryed out in less than half a year, what a trash. That eye quad, yessss!!!! Thanks for another super good video, sending you lots of love!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

  9. Do you think the la mer face cream/broth products work? – I just thought, “nah, it can’t be that special” – there are so many expensive fancy creams – Chanel “subla-merge my bank account with debt” , Cle de peau, la mer, augustbader (I know I got that name wrong), skii… I haven’t tried any of them bc I’m in the “expensive but I’m not a celebrity” skin care bracket, lol – but, and it’s an unfortunate story, I got a sample pack of la mer and my skin has been glorious after a month of using it – all dry patches are gone, makeup has been a dream to apply, and I’ve even been using my retin A like I just don’t care – I mean, I don’t look younger… but no dry patches with such free abandonment use of retin a AND winter!? That’s different! Oh tell me it’s not true – I’m waiting to use every scratch of other skin cream I have before even thinking about la mer again… but maybe suddenly my skin just decided not to have dry patches… maybe it’s a coincidence – I hope

  10. Hi Rebecca, I absolutely love NARS.. they have so many amazing products, love their foundations and Laguna was my go to bronzer for years. I don’t think we should be arguing about makeup 😮😂 it’s only makeup 💄 lol 😂 Anyhoot I had a question. I owned the original La Mer lip treatment in it’s original one shade. I agree the mint is kinda a sweet mint, no burning or tingling. Did feel nice on the lips, for the cash 💰 😅 I finished mine. Then bought a Hermes lip balm, btw it’s my favorite and I even bought a backup because I couldn’t find it anywhere, called BLOOMINGDALE’S found the last one lol 😂 Rose confetti.. it’s definitely more moisturizing than my others. Maybe this one was meant to be more shiny. But I’m debating on grabbing another lip treatment from La Mer, hopefully you swatch them on another video. I’m sure it’s not too different lol. My friend recently grabbed the Guerlain lip oils, said they had a heavy honey 🍯 scent, and felt more like Vaseline and gloss 😳😬😅 so idk if I may pass. I’ve bought so many lippie products recently. But I’m wearing them so I get my money’s worth! Lol I think the quad here is pretty! But I have way too many in my collection. I’ve been loving my Chanel 388 eclat de nuit.. is that one LE? So stunning on, and my Natasha my mini dream palette & CT Queen of luck, kinda want the Chanel rivage quad, but 😅don’t need. I did see a beautiful bronze shade single eyeshadow from Cle de peau.. might have to grab it.. ok sorry so long.. have a peaceful day y’all 🫶🏼

  11. Rebecca, have you completely lost the plot for paying US$90.00 (AU$138.00) for a Lip Gloss! I'm seriously becoming worried about your spending habits lately.(😉) I nearly died when I converted that amount. You could have bought two Dior Maximisers with change to buy a good, yet lesser priced gloss too. Maybe, it's all that inhaling of your make-up that you do when testing for scent that is having an effect on your judgement? Should I even remind you that Chinese New Year is on the 10th of February this year? I'm not going to comment on the first mentioned ludicrous product and the fact that you bought TWO of the things! No wonder you were whispering, as you didn't want your hubby to hear of this insanity. I'll say no more.🤐 I have to admit that I like the Nars Quad. It's exudes style and gives a classic look that shows sophistication. Smothering the lids with intense Pat McGrath shades hardly comes under this definition. (We'll just ignore the fact that my first PML Quad arrived today from a lovely person from eBay). I am so in love with those Burberry Quads that I am going to purchase all four when I decide I've suffered my low-buy long enough. To be honest, I have lapsed a tad, which is why I'm holding back. I discovered the YSL Quads had finally arrived here, (see, I have been a good girl & not even looking for them!), although two are missing from the regular line. I did order the blue/green Quad (L/E) as I had a $20.00 birthday discount to use, so why not on my favourite Quad from the range? I could surely see you with the one that has the three pink/rose shimmers and only one matte. (for the record, I paid $41.00 less for the Quad than you did for one of those glosses-couldn't help myself). Finally, I get to try this formula and compare it to the large Couture Clutch Palettes. I would like to try more of them, but I will be calling myself insane if I continued to purchase more completely unneeded eye-shadows. I'm still knocked over by how many I own. For the record, I'm most definitely on the side of the Burberry Quads that are the epitome of sophistication and style, which any Burberry lover would understand. Just look at how many bought the Chanel Mediterranean Quad and they don't come much softer than that, yet it has to be one of the most popular Quads I can think of from Chanel. A Department Store here has much better photos than the ones I've seen floating about of the Burberry Quads that make them look even more enticing. I can't wait to get my mitts on them. Just look how lovely your make-up is in the video. In one of my lapses from where I purchased the PML Deep Space Divinity Quad at an incredible price, I also grabbed the Nars Summer Unrated Eye Palette for a bargain price too. Each untouched in their boxes, brand new and the plastic layer stuck over the top of the Quad was still intact. The Nars is full of that classic sophistication that I keep referring to, which I know you'll understand. You should see what I have managed to purchase from there, even a Tom Ford Lip Gloss at a smidgen of what is charged in the stores. It's the only reason I have three Tom Ford Quads in my home, as I has always stated that I would never pay the retail price. My first, the Honeymoon Quad, saved me $110.00! (I paid only $40.00!) It's even harder to stay on the wagon now, but I'm trying. I did allow myself a rare few exceptions and just as well as Lethal Cosmetics are releasing some new shadows and glitter toppers at the end of the week. I like their multichromes as they are nice and subtle, unlike many of the other Indie Brands that make them as bright as the noon day Sun. They're also releasing four more holographic shadows in the Pure Metals range which I can't wait for. They posted a YT video with the swatches if you want to take a peek. Please my dear friend, rest your weary head and take some nice walks to clear out all of that inhaled make-up from your lungs. Drink plenty of fluids to flush it out too. If only you could see my lounge room now. Your face has been paused on the telly and you're staring at me from the picture above where I'm typing my comment/essay.
PS. I thought the controversy over Pat's release of her Limited Edition Mothership in Divine Rose II would have started by now. I honestly don't know what she is thinking at the moment, but I can tell you it's not going to be a positive for the company. I'm afraid I can't defend this move, as much as I do tend to stick up for her. I only finally bought the last of her Motherships over the Holiday period, which were the 'pink ones' of Divine Rose I & II, Huetopian Dream, Sunlit Seduction and then was immensely blessed to have received Decadence in the L/E Star Wars version in the gold palette despite ordering the regular packaging which was the only version available. Nice surprise. I swatched every shadow from those palettes at the one time and was still in awe of their beauty as I appreciated her inspiration. Yet releasing Divine Rose II again after all of the uproar is disastrous. An artist in charge does not allow mistakes such as this to occur, which makes me think that others are calling the shots. You and I could easily create a Mothership just as good as her first ones that made customers spend such vast amounts. It's not that difficult when you understand colour. Just look at the Givenchy regular line of Eye Palettes and see how beautifully they have been put together and oh so underrated. Natasha Denona can do no wrong either. That's why I believe something is going on behind the lines within the business. Anyway, I'm finally done for now. Take care, Kris.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

  12. The eyeshadow quad might actually interest me for once… only because the eyeshadow duo St. Paul de Vence is my favorite one that I have kept around and not decluttered. It has no sparkle in it at all, and is more peachy pink than that quad, so maybe they are good to use together.

  13. Hi Rebecca! Love the La Mer products but I do think they’re overpriced! Would love to see you review the Cay skin lip treatment in Nude Ting & the Caliray under eye color corrector!
