New Jurassic Zoo Manager! – Prehistoric Kingdom Early Access

Welcome… to NOT-Jurassic Park! “Prehistoric Kingdom” is a new zoo management game where you bring ancient, long extinct creatures back to life for our own amusement! The game is VERY much still in early access and several critical mechanics are still disabled, so the game has limited playability at this stage. Even so, it’s worth keeping an eye on during its development!

  1. It's a bit sad to see a near carbon copy, just renamed and early acess released with a few changes. It seems like they aren't even trying to hide it's a copy.
And I love dino park games.

  2. Well, it may just be "Planet Zoo but dinosaurs", but that may not be a bad thing. Admittedly there can be a fine line between "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and "cheap knockoff", and I'm hoping all the quirks present in the game are a matter of "we'll iron out the wrinkles later, but this shows you what we have to offer and a taste of what's to come to drum up interest". Crossing my fingers that this is a serious effort inspired by a successful game and not a knockoff trying to make money off of someone else's success through imitation.

Yeah, with how little there actually seems to be, this feels less like "early access" and at best "public beta testing".

  3. Wow I was just looking at this yesterday and hoping someone would cover this! It does look like it might be a toss up between this and Jurassic World 2. I think it needs more variety in the dinos though.

  4. It is always nice to see competitors to existing games, especially games that don't have any rivals. They'll have to come up with some new stuff though. As of now it looks a lot like a straight hybrid of Planet Zoo and Jurassic World: Evolution. Which isn't a bad thing, but some originality would be nice.

  5. I prefer these types of videos. I don't much understand your other management games like your Kingdoms Reborn. And that's mostly because it isn't my style (though I love Plague Inc) and overall generally bad that them.

  6. For people who don't know what EA means:
"Steam Early Access enables you to sell your game on Steam while it is still being developed, and provide context to customers that a product should be considered "unfinished." Early Access is a place for games that are in a playable alpha or beta state"
also great vid- hope you revisit the game once its finished

  7. Praise Pravus for starting a series with fresh game of which the style isn't frequented here… And I am all readied to see Pravus yelling at the dinos and humans alike for eating or getting eaten!

  8. Also, I think Pravus played the role of the battle pope too hard into believing dinos only went extinct thousands of years ago and co-existed with humans in the Adams era…

  9. Yea the texture clipping and snapping things together is a problem for me.
I want to know if things will work together or not. I really hope they do something about snapping things together.

  11. I see that other people are unlocking more animals than this, so there must be something you haven't gotten to yet. The game looks promising.
