I get joining the rear and front baseboards to get a straight run on the exhibition circuit – but where are the fiddle yards at each end going to come from as no mention so far?

Loving the updates on the layout Richard coming on really well.. have you any ideas as to the 1st Exhibition it will be at?
Question , your main line is not connected to the heritage line, do you have a access gate or lift out for the centre of your layout, must be a lot of work to move your layout for exhibition mode, trains the UK are very different than in Canada , we don’t have a dedicated passenger line, need to share with freight trains, update looks fantastic

U know people done the things for years on a model railway yourself very easy for yourself to do the things on layout due being close to the traders people like myself takes years 59 maybe

Coming along very nicely although I would suggest your transition to super elevation is too abrupt and would benefit from being a little smoother. Out of interest, will the backscene be on the inside or outside or options for both depending on whether the layout is in Garage mode or Exhibition mode. Actually can’t wait to see this layout in the flesh at an exhibition one day. Happy New Year! Cheers, Dave

Your layout is an absolute dream. It's great to see the layout develop. I really like the two "eras". Great to see a variety. I bet you cannot wait to start doing the scenics. I'm still waiting on my track order so no trains or modeling at the moment. Happy New year. Looking forward to viewing in 2023.

I like the four train plan. You might also consider a BIg Four train run in similar fashion. Maybe even set up the tunnels to fill with steam before the Heritage Trains come out of the potals.
