  1. Lumi also means snow in Finnish, so, you do have snow for Christmas after all! 🌨 (in a way 😅)
    I once had a ferret named Lumi(nix), he was a sweetie🤍
Love the name for him, and he's absolutely gorgeous! ❤

  2. I just love Lumie. His name fits, and it popped into my head when you talked about renaming him. That candle prancing around in the movie is the perfect image of his spirit. So happy for him, Shae!
    And for you too!

  4. Thank you for sharing your beautiful farm and horses with us! I love the name for the new horse! So fitting! It would have been so cool if he had been kept a stud! Seems like he was a calm stallion. He would make beautiful babies, imagine breeding him to Belle or Essi! He is the best Christmas gift ever! It’s hilarious how Belle is so picky about treats but the geldings just gobble them down like they have never eaten before! Also little Mushu standing next to giant Gaston was hilarious 😂 Merry Christmas, Shae, Kyle, and the rest of you farm!!! 🎄

  5. We have a dog that will not take new treats unless you break off a tiny piece for him to taste first. The he will eat a full piece if he likes it. Maybe it is the texture the foals are not liking. Try giving them a bit of grated carrot in a tiny ball, so they can get the flavor and sweetness of the treat. 😉

  6. Being from Ohio, I know the mud well. So glad all that ugly is behind me. Feel sorry for you, though. The new name is great. That horse is so HOLLYWOOD, he has to have a star's name. Congratulations.

  7. Merry Christmas y'all. His name is perfect. Love the reason you picked it. It fits him great.
I'm probally half hour fourth five minutes north of you and yes it was so strange not having a white Christmas. 50° was crazy for Christmas day!
    Much love. ❤😊

  8. What about cutting pool noodles lengthwise and slipping them over the hay hut edges to prevent mane rubbing? Never tried it, just a thought. May have to screw them on but you could use the thicker noodles. Don’t want that beautiful mane damaged ❤❤
