    Raiders – take path of least resistance to resources.

    Barbarians – attempt to occupy buildings or destroying them.

    Slavers – snatch villagers away

    Bandits/highwaymen – encamp on roads blocking them.

  4. It was really tough for me to learn that the game is calculating the birth rate from the food supply. I thought having at least a month of food was good enough and was struggling to figure out why I was just getting by. Turns out, prospering requires having many months of food. The birth rate increased from that for me and I got more immigrants as well. I got 9 births in a year from 350 people. Was game changing.
