finally digimon dusk and Dawn is finally being remebered
I actually assisted in the development of this remake a bit. I only jotted down most of the base stats of the digimon in dawn and dusk but I'm glad I supported it
A reminder to those who dont know:
Dawn and dusk (known as sunburst and moonlight respectively in japan) are technically digimon story games

Not to forget, the Sequel to Dawn and Dusk (Lost Evolution) which was Japan exclusive is stated to get a finished English Fan Translation sometime this year from Operation Decoded (Only active on Facebook as far as I can tell) if nothing goes wrong.
And here I was thinking this was a real announcement 😭. Oh well. Interested to see the progress tho.

digimon dawn and dusk are pretty meh games outside of nostalgia glasses so i dont think you should play the og ds if you want to play something good but play it anyways because its kinda fun and very cool-y stylised and i hope this remake includes repels because the 394030940393 wild encounters you'll do while traversing long poorly made maps is by far its biggest off set
Digimon dawn and dusk were great if you haven't played them already then I would recommend them.

For all the love that the pokemon games get in the rom hack community, I wish the Digimon games of old got some attention as well.

Oh my, this game duo is one of my absolute favorite monstertaming experiences. It's flawed for sure, but so much fun. I really hope this doesn't get shot down.
I was hoping it was getting an official remake, but this works. Those two are my favorites in the series, especially dusk!

I gave Survive a try and just couldn't like it. But a remake of Dawn/Dusk, and with progression improvements, along with Hacker's Memory would leave no shortage of Digimon in my future.
