  21. On moonshine:
    I live in Tennessee, and I grew up among rednecks. As a teen, I knew moonshine as a clear alcohol distilled in someone’s shed for dirt cheap. It wasn’t illegal to make it for yourself, but it WAS illegal to make it with the intent to sell it.
    Nowadays, moonshine has become a kitschy “boutique” alcohol sold in tourist traps in places like Gatlinburg. They now have dozens of flavored moonshines, moonshine cherries, moonshine cream drinks, etc., and they are all WAY weaker than the original stuff you’d get poured in an old milk jug from some guy operating out of his trailer.

  22. I’ve seen a few other card games in my time, most notably Magic. I listen to the designer talk about that game’s color philosophy, and I like to think I’ve learned Digimon’s color philosophy too. I think a Vegimon deck should lean into memory gain, building off the one Vegimon that gives you memory at the start of your turn. I will add that I’m not the best at balancing, so numbers may need to be tweaked. Oh, and I didn’t remember Vegidramon’s types and such. But with all that said:

    Vegimon
    Lv. 4 green Digimon
    Champion, virus, carnivorous plant
    4000 DP
    4 to play, 2 to digivolve off green Lv. 3
    <Start of Your Main Phase> If you have another Digimon or Tamer in play, gain 1 memory.
    <Your Turn> <Once Per Turn> When this Digimon becomes suspended, gain 1 memory.
    Inherited: <Your Turn> <Once Per Turn> When you gain memory, this Digimon gets +1000 DP for the turn.

    RedVegimon
    Lv. 4 green-red Digimon
    Champion, virus, vegetation
    4000 DP
    4 to play, 2 to digivolve off red or green Lv. 3

  23. You have excellent taste- Inside No. 9 is easily one of my favourite shows of recent years, Power Rangers, Digimon, and funnily enough, I'm not really a beer drinker (I like wine and weirder stuff like mead and absinthe) but Asahi is the one beer that I actually love!
