I'm wondering if there was a hatch cover in Keily's car? If so, would it have blocked access to the cargo area once under water and upside down (by floating up)? I'm super curious as to how Keily wound up where she did. I LOVE YOUR WORK, from Karen in Australia. 🇦🇺🥰🇦🇺
3 things. Bodies decompose more slowly in fresh water than in salt or on land. They would have been able to make a positive identification pretty easily with Kiely. I saw them pull a car out live, that they didn't realize a body was in until it was too late. It had been underwater for a couple years and you would be amazed at how much of the remains were left. The TBI website has lots of good info on it.
Also, I have been a subscriber and member of AWP for well over a year (maybe 2 by now) and seen every episode at least twice. Of all the remains they have recovered in an SUV or otherwise, none have been in the trunk space. Is it odd? Yes, but that still doesn't prove foul play. She may have passed out behind the wheel and when she was suddenly awoken by the water rushing in, she probably panicked and as small as she is, could have scrambled to the only air pocket left, which would be in the very back of the vehicle.
Last, but not least, I'm a huge fan of Jan Garavalia. I studied medicine, so it's always been of interest to me. Normal toxicology takes anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. It isn't just the toxicology they're going to be waiting on, though. There are often slides taken of different body organs that they look at and they must be sent off to special laboratories to process that. Being that it was a teenage party though, I would say the toxicology test would be of most importance. With a male lurking around her and acting peculiar, He could have slipped something in her drink like a roofie. It would have been easy to do with all the distractions around. I wouldn't be shocked if they found something like this. And if that is the case, then that would be murder. And maybe what it turns out to be is a party gone awry, somebody gives her something they shouldn't have, she overdoses and then they all panic and decide to come up with a way to get rid of the body. That would explain the sudden end of the party and everyone peeling out of there and also why nobody is talking…. Nobody wants to go down for an accidental death and if they were at the scene, then all are culpable.
Chris. Have you seen the video from a YouTube channel in which the AWP video was flipped upside down to show Nick seeing the car in the water right side up!
I agree..very suspicious. Cops couldn't find vehicle even when it was in sight through water and they flew over it numerous times. They needed neutral to find hence AWP. Cops involved, maybe even committed murder.
i wonder if she was “strapped in” the back so in case she woke up after the car hit the water she would struggle getting the strap off after she’s already injured/passed out… this whole case is just so bizarre
I like your experiments, but she did not drop of a cliff into 50' of water. That hill was sloped like a boat ramp into 14' of water, so how does a 15' car flip over front first. The front would be resting on the lake floor and the back would be sticking out of the water until it filled up then sunk. How does a 15' car do a front flip in 14' of water? Could it have rolled over sideways with the pass side window open? All the water weight on one side of the car. You would have to make a ramp going into the water, and the depth of the water would have to be less than the length of your truck for a more real enactment. ✌❤
Chris, isn't there an inside emergency hatch release? Maybe with the water rushing in, she went to the hatch area to open the hatch with the emergency release. maybe you can show where that emergency release is. I have not heard or seen anybody talk about it. thanks
Her boyfriend and Sami are involved she posed as Kiely when the tow truck driver was there check his video someone has to show ID on service call or even sign for it how come no one checks this out she was probably in the back the whole time
Chris did you see the chips in the paint by the strap on the back of the bumper. Looks like they're deep not just a scratch but more removed by friction
There is a video out that shows the tow truck driver and diver discussing how to remove the front in of the car out of the slug of the lake bottom. The rear of the car was near the bank. The front was pointing out to the lake. And the car was rolled sideways not flipped end over end. The car came out trunk first which is how it was found. I believe Adventures with Purpose put out the video of the tow truck driver and diver talking about how to roll the car. You should find that video. Also, the AWP said that the window was broken already.
I was surprised to see you post a missing person from my local area. please know that Shannon Hunt Borders was found Sept 3. I didn't know her. She is alive and receiving help.
When you tied the seat belt … that’s what it looked like. They tied a strap on her to keep her from floating up. She was put in the back for a reason.
They are car seat security latch

Chris – If you start a new missing person's case, don't you think other channels would see yours and join in? Btw, love your channel. ❤❤👍
Good for you dude. You did what you said you would – always smart ot respond to cutumers! Smart i thank you for you for shareing what I sent you !!!
I like our detailed work. I see you are passionate about it 🙏
I think the window was already broke
If the window broke under water wouldn't it reflect light and shine

SF pi is trying to make AWP look bad saying they didn't contact family or police. Which is a total lie. They called a aunt and Grandma and police!!
It's for the stepdad bike I bet
Thx Chris for ur good work again.

Sfinvestigates is a detective for truckee pd name is chuck owens, a retired deputy
They should not have turned the car over, rather removed it as it was under water. Very poor from agencies who should know better.
A lot of cars come with emergency trunk release
Adian didn’t get a fair search. Great Job on the recreation.
Again. Great job Chris!
CORRECTION, 6 weeks from August 23 is Oct 7 not Nov 1.

The belt is folded and the door was closed on it.
What did you have to do to get it the same way as Kiely's car.?
