  1. This deck is so cool! I have a few tiny quibbles about how some of the creatures were translated into Magic, but overall the flavor is great. It does a good job of capturing how the Tyranids are a constantly-growing threat that can go wide with swarms of little bugs or tall with giant monsters, backed up with a surprising array of clever tricks. I especially love how ramp is themed as the Genestealer Cults infecting new recruits and as the Tyranids physically spreading across a planet. Also the reprints are amazing; its super cool to see existing cards we're used to playing with reimagined in the context of another universe.

  2. I like the XX Land Getting wall guy. In landfall decks particularly; if you have landfall payoffs out and a lot of mana, you get a big blocker, a card, a lot more mana, and a lot of triggers.

  3. Ghyrson Starn in Nekusar is just ridiculous. Each player is taking 3 damage for every card they draw instead of 1.
Edit: The Red Terror also seems very strong in Nekusar, since each draw is an instance of one damage which would be a trigger. You would only get the trigger from one player, so a wheel effect would net you around 7 counters instead of 21. Still seems good.

  4. Hey Tomer, great video. One thing I would suggest, is somehow differentiate the cards in the deck vs similar cards you are talking about, occasionally I was like "oh, that's in the deck", but it wasn't and you were just comparing another card to it.

  5. Alright maybe I missed it but someone has to say it. For two mana it kills an illusion boom. I feel that whenever something days target it is the responsibility of the community to remind each other of this fact.

  6. I think Pyrohemia is actually kind of perfect for The Red Terror. It becomes a repeatable board wipe because Terror always survives, and even on an empty board it’s 1 red for 1 counter since it will trigger off of Pyro damaging it

  7. I actually really love the X spell defender that grabs lands. I feel people are getting caught up on how expensive it gets later on but missing that its baseline is Farhaven Elf, a card that is still very playable in mid power commander. If you don't have blink synergies it's better since it's a farhaven with upside and in decks like Zaxara and Lucea Kane it's gonna be powerful ramp

  8. I think pretty much anything that goes good with Ghryson goes good with The Red Terror. However is worth noting that Ghryson is not a may and applies to your own stuff too, so think twice before going crazy on symmetrical effects.

  9. Thank you for making a very good and enjoyable to watch reveal for these decks and pronouncing things correctly. The command zones reveal was rushed and actually horrible to watch. Ty ty tomer

  10. If you had a double or triple damage spell like furnace or emancipation would that change the fact you are only doing 1 damage, or would the effect of the enchantment kick in after the 1 damage is already done?
