  1. This is the perfect labs-meta gun btw. Just put 50-round mags on it and it ticks all the boxes: Can one tap raiders in the head, has good high pen ammo, has low recoil, can be suppressed, and can use large mags for corner fights or killing raider rushes. Basicly just the mutant for cheaper and bigger mags, which was the only thing the mutant didn't have.

Worth mentioning – a really good alternative to the Troy combo is the VS Combo, it's similar in stats but with slightly less recoil reduction, but more ergo too, and you can get it a good bit sooner than the Troy combo (LL4 Skier usually one of the first max level traders). The rails (Vltor CASV) are also super cheap for it with LL2 Peacekeeper, where as the troy needs LL4 Mechanic.

  4. I've been liking the AKM this wipe, even with just PS rounds. Half a dozen shots is enough to destroy most PMC's it seems, just need to careful and slow with those single shots.

    8:27 is a prime example of why one should relocate during a fight. That PMC just stayed put which allowed you to heal, and then get a great shot in. If he had moved a bit he may of been able to catch you trying to find him again, or forced you to disengage.

  7. Btw new ballistics make this gun shoot flat on 50 m zero up to 200 meters and possibly a little more, and that's with PS ammo I tested, BP is faster and if you get your hands on some MAI you are a god of sniping.

  13. One part worth considering on the AKM build is the Hera Arms CQR stock. Although you can’t use a separate pistol grip with it, it has pretty good stats in its own right. But the thing it can do that others can’t is it makes the rifle only one box wide (even with a mag in.) So for inventory management it’s unbeatable.

  14. I think when it comes to budget king, 5.45x39mm and 7.62x54mmR are the way to go. Simply because you don’t have to buy the most expensive piece of the puzzle and are not constrained by crafting times/vendor resets – ammo. Unlike other calibers, 5.45 BS and Igolniks as well as 7.62 SNB have loose boxed ammo spawn which means that you will always find some in usable quantity. I have 8000 BS stashed away and I’ve stopped picking them up anymore since I find more than I can realistically use.

  18. In the first scene at 6:45 when you wonder why it shoots relatively flat i think the optic is the cause. TAC30 starts with a zero for 100m while most battlesights like bravo4 or hamr are zeroed to 50. So th efeld holdover at range for slow ammo like 762 changes a lot. Most players don't look after the zero of the sight and so the idea cruises around in the community that sight A or B hits higher or lower. . with 556 you can get away with ignoring that thanks to the flat trajectory. With a corrected zero you can still aim point of aim point of impact at a hundred with subsonic (just be shure that it is a hundred 😉 ).
    They should make it so that you can change the setting for sights in the hideout and have it that way every time you enter a raid, but it resets every game.
