Hey there, it’s MollyBerry again. Today I’ve got a super quick rundown on exclusive loot you’ll have the chance to claim in the upcoming holiday redux expeditions in our very favorite distractions simulation game, No Man’s Sky.

So, No Man’s Sky has announced a redux for expeditions 5, 6, 7, and 8 which will offer us the chance to run a “shortened” version of the expeditions and snag the in-game rewards. The date isn’t concrete but it’s slated for the upcoming holidays, so I thought I’d give you guys a quick and clear rundown so you know what to expect.

First up is expedition number 5, Exobiology, released on February 24th, 2022, one week following the Sentinel update. This is the one I am the MOST excited about! I completely missed it the first time around, so I am SUPER stoked to get the chance to redux this one!

1. The Exobiology Expedition is themed around discovering and interacting with the alien creatures inhabiting the universe.
The first reward is the Reality Glitch Jetpack Trail, followed by three beautiful creature-themed posters.
Next, you’ll receive the Exotic Companion Armor which I can’t wait to see on my giant robo dogo,
then you’ll get arguably THE coolest lookin jetpack in the game, the Exotic Wingpack.
The final reward is the Sentinel Quad Companion.

02:25 CHAPTER 2 Expedition 6: Blighted

2. Expedition six was released during the Outlaws update for No Man’s Sky, on April 14th, 2022. Blighted kept you swashbuckling around the universe, searching for clues, treasure, and frequent space battles. It is one of my favorite expeditions and I can’t wait to re-play it.
-You’ll start with the sputtering starship trails
-Then they really zhuzh things up with three super rad pirate posters.
-Exclusive flags
-And a decorative Wayward Cube
-The final reward is a well-worn Outlaw Cape.

03:25 CHAPTER 3 Expedition 7: Leviathan

3. Leviathan debuted on May 25th of this year and brought with it a very unique, first-of-its-kind time travel survival Expedition. The devs really outdid themselves with this one! It really draws you in with the storytelling and gameplay- you won’t want to miss out on this one.
-First up is a trio of fancy posters
-Then your very own Temporal Starship Trails!
-Followed by a stylish Whalestalker Cloak
-A decorative organic frigate holo figure for your freighter breakroom table
-And the pièce de résistance: an actual LIVING frigate to add to your fleet.

04:25 CHAPTER 4 Expedition 8: Polestar

4. The final redux expedition is expedition #8, Polestar. This heavy shipping freighter-themed expedition saw its debut on July 27th,
-You’ll first score some super rad posters for your captain’s cabin
-Followed by some appearance augmentation for your freighter: the Heavy -Gravity Freighter Trails
-A trio of additional decorations for your maproom and cargo compartment will be next
-Then a brand new Fleet Commander’s Cape
-And finally, a new companion: the Child of Helios.

05:13 Chapter 5 Wrapping up & Thank You
Overall, a ton of content, loot, story, and swag to put some extra pep in your step as you head into the holidays.
