  1. I still cant get over how much d6 attacks and damage is going to be in the game now. This edition will be soo much more rng than 9th.

Every single game will just be rng. U could be twice as good at the game than your opponent and it will matter less than ever before.

That AND having to roll so many more dice to do anything means it will play slower while simultaneously being a real feal bad 100% of the time. Either you wiff or you spike and your opponent feels bad

  2. You missed the fact that ther LoV's ability means re roll all ranged wounds, the twin linked means he rerolls all hits (on an auto hit weapon) and wounds(which he does anyway)…

  3. If Strength seems low, bear in mind the reduce Toughness aura?? What sort of logic is that, why bother at all and just make them space marines if it all works out the same anyway

  4. The DG rules are so counter intuitive: Firstly, you get PM which get remorseless which reduce BaSk but near Obj, which directly conteracts the sticky obj DG rule meaning PM are choosing between one or the other, second; Blast rules rerolling wounds from the LoV seems useless as you're getting auto wounds from lethal wounds, so, if you get auto wounds you are missing out on that benifit, reducing the effectiveness; thirdly, no one is going to charge you, mitigating all of those "bonuses to being charged" you are running around with flamers and a MPc meaning you can just auto delete a charging enemy, and if they do decide to charge, a -2 to charge makes them miss it, probably, and then if they DO make it they can then be made to fight last, this means in practice that squad will not be charged, so all those bonuses are moot; lastly, the PBC is just dead to any stiff wind from any focused anti-tank. The anti tank on rail gun, that big str 26 nid gun, they wound on 2s, are you telling me our 36" str 10 was too strong in 10th they had to reduce 2 shots effectiveness by 50% in addition to buffing T by 20% across the board theby reducing the EC more so? Or put flamers on our mortar weapon. It's counter intuitive. It is the same feeling as when inexorable advance was said that it didn’t reduce charge penalties, desipite charge penalties not working the way they said they did, they made a rule effectively useless by saying their intent was other than the RAW. It's incredibly disheartening.

Also DR is 100% being errata'd. No damn way they want DG to have a tool that could actually be effective.

  5. The Disgustingly resiliant strategem is stupid. Either 1 player gets completely screwed because of the melee faction they play or it doesn't do jack. Eitherway feels bad. Bad design. High cp cost.

  6. Still really broken up that the removal of demon saves. They were great flavor and really well balanced and just I knew every single daemon would go up an invuln point as a result of consolidating the melee/range :/ honestly a really bad Nerf, there's gonna be a loooot of dead blood letters and daemonettes trying to enter Melee w only a 5+…

  7. Dude… Blink twice if GW is holding you hostage…

"The game is significsntly less lethal…" The Lion, Tau tanks, the entirety of the Elder army, etc. are now all WAAAAY more lethal. This Morty datasheet is so trash. He gives a decent 6 inch aura… To units that move 4 inches and 5 inches. Why in the hell should a Daemon Primarch be relegated to being a backline support character???

No rational human that watched that stream last night could believe that Death Guard will be an above 40% win rate army. They MIGHT have a chance to win against a troop only army with 0 armor or big characters. The Lord of Virulence led Termi brick was absolutely useless.

  8. I mean… look at how exciting those Daemon datasheets are. How are DG players supposed to feel seeing all that crazy good damage and movement coming towards them and they get… Sticky objectives (with a battleline unit that's only ability… Is to stay on objectives).

This is just sad for DG players.

  9. something about taking away lord of changes 3 spells a turn and replacing it with an alright ability just called "master of magicka" feels very "telling without showing"…

  10. "haha it's so funny that everyone counters psychic things now right?"

Honestly, what is even the point of the psychic keyword if all it does is make everyone get a feel no pain save against everything you do?

  11. Thanks, Trevy! I'm super excited about the demons! I'm a Slaanesh player, but I like these rules! I have some units from the other three Gods; looks like I'm expanding. Lol

  12. So can Mortarion ignore his own damage debuff by using Lord of the Death Guard?

It says ignore any or all modifiers, and the damage 1-6 wounds remaining is -1 to hit.

  13. I’m looking at playing Nurgle Daemons at the start of tenth and a bit sad that we haven’t gotten a ton of reveals but I’m loving what I have seen. I love the idea of dropping Rotigus in from reserves in the middle of my opponents army and just say “deal with him.” I’m digging Nurgle’s gimmick being OC over just being slow and fat.

  14. Will cover still apply to the plagueburst since it has 2+ save? Or is it that it can only provide the +1 save down to 3+? Hence an AP-1 weapon would make the crawler save at 3+, since cover can't improve it further?

  15. I admit that the Lord of Change is probably very good now, but I also hate this change because it basically reduces him to being an Anti-Tank Turret with wings as opposed to among the mightiest wielders of magic in Warhammer. He is just a gun with wings now, a big fail on flavor.

  16. I gotta say, at first I was like "shit my deathguard suck still" but the more we see and the more I think about it the more I wanna play them still. PBC being T10 caught me off gaurd, I was expecting 12 at least. But 2+ save on morty and pbc is massive. LoV is gonna be autotake with 3 pbc. I can't wait to see deathshroud and poxwalkers! I'm excited, I've also got Daemons and chaos knights so I'm super ready for 10th lol.
