  1. Ireland took part in Qualifers for Qatar. Ireland played Qatar twice. All were reported on in depth by Off The Ball. Ireland have taken part in the Qatar circus as much as anyone else. Ridiculous to be pointing out that Neville is guilty… when everyone else including Off The Ball takes part in the nonsense.

  2. Neville found out that sharp, high level minds will eat you up if you are not fully true in your words. They found the holes and plowed through. I find Neville contradicts himself quite a lot.

  3. Sorry, but the lady on the show is outstanding with knowledge and insight. But I didn't hear an introduction for your guests, so I don't know her name. Where do I find her away from OTB?

  4. 42:14 Isn't this what O'Connor and co. do week in week out. They get paid to promote or vilify certain groups. They certainly don't do it of their own volition. They are paid activists not journalists.

  5. Gary Neville exposed. Really?
Does anyone who's bothered to read the comments believe that any one of these three would turn down or refuse to cover the world cup in Qatar if asked to by their employers???
Would Joe Molloy refuse to cover the world cup in Qatar if Newstalk asked him.
Well Joe if you were offered the gig by Newstalk would you refuse it on principle??

  6. 46:35 Newstalk are running adds sponsored by Pfizer. No conflict of interest there LOL Not to mention Pfizer are on record as one of the most corrupt companies in the world
Not a word from our troubled panel about Saudi Arabia's participation in the world cup. Why? They have a similar profile to Qatar but oddly they are not up for discussion.
Could it be that they are one of biggest importers of Irish goods? Could it be that they invest large sums of money in this country some of it trickling down to media outlets?

  7. There's no value if they only regurgitate what we/they read in th days papers. Joe is always good and insightful, don't know the name of the Chris Evans look a like but really doesn't offer much.
    Muttering and sttutering,

  8. That Cliona Foley chose to question Gary Neville's judgment in appearing on Have I Got News for You rather than to discuss the hypocrisy that Ian Hislop highlighted is the sorry state of disingenuous affairs in our mainstream media. And is Gary Neville a great pundit? Or is he a pundit that played for a club whose supporters account for a lot of fellow pundits and subscribers to media outlets? Like Jamie Carragher. And while no doubt all sorts of shenanigans went on in the Russia and Qatar bids, that the media never talk about how other host cities and counties won bids is something they need to reflect on.

  9. How you stamp out bad behaviour is to have zero tolerance even if was accidental, unlike football rugby have done this for several years now and now players teams are tackling much lower to avoid head collision

  10. I'm a Brit by the way, but Hislop is totally delusional thinking the UK is some paragon of virtue re. human rights – we're the country that brought you the Iraq war, Bloody Sunday, castrating Kenyans, extraordinary rendition etc. Who are we and people like Hislop to point fingers at Qatar's human rights?
