In Dirty John, Debra Newell (Connie Britton) is a successful interior designer and single mom who meets John Meehan (Eric Bana), a charming doctor who seems perfect. However, John has secrets, and Debra’s life unravels as she discovers them. Debra’s daughters, Terra (Julia Garner) and Veronica (Juno Temple), are initially upset by their mother’s new relationship. They investigate John and uncover his criminal past.
In Dirty John: Betty – The Betty Broderick Story, Betty Broderick’s (Amanda Peet) marriage to Dan Broderick (Christian Slater) unravels after Dan has an affair with his legal secretary, Linda Kolkena (Rachel Keller). Betty’s behavior becomes increasingly erratic and violent, culminating in her shooting and killing Dan and Linda in 1989.

unironically, these are my favorite tracks but i have never watched the show with them. it is so weird to see the real show and not the imagined show i made up in my mind that is somehow a better show than what was actually on television
