While I know it's a movie, (yes, based on true events) it makes me so thankful for all the tiny blessings I have.

This movie feels different after the recent revelations that has come out.
Lol this movie is basically a giant lie now since the Tuohys never formally adopted Michael and just profited off of him.
Shows just how whitewashed Hollywood is. Michael Oher spoke out against how he was portraited in the movie, as well as how they made the Touhy's look like good natured people. They made that white family look like white saviors saving yet another at risk urban black child. They made Michael Oher look like a timid socially challenged child with the potential to be great if only someone took him in and they made the lawyer look like an angry black woman villain attacking a family of white people because they adopted a young black man. And Hollywood was more than willing to oblige. But really, the white family are criminals. Michael Oher is not that way at all. He paved the way for himself and he exposed them as criminals. And the black lawyer was seeking justice against who she knew the whole time to be a bunch of criminals trying to profit off of yet another young black person.

My mom started to do drugs when i was 4, went to live with my aunt and uncle they took the best care of me then i went back to live with my mom my real dad died when i was 4 moths old then my step dad died when i was 4, my mom and step step dad got into a figth then my mom left whit the baby and was with a another man and then died form drugs the baby is ok. I live with my aunt and uncle they take the best care of me and would do anthing for me.
