I personally tried a few paladin builds and my most successful one was going half strength half foc, heavy armor and war hammer with clear out, shockwave and wrecking ball. Lifestaff with orb and fortifying sacred ground. You have 40 % fortify, constant CC, weaken, grit and decent damage. Don't like sword honestly because it doesn't have grit.
better with hammer instaed of shield sadly, grit on heavy attacks, lifedrain, amazing cc. I also thought the shield would be better

Could a version be done with void gauntlet/ lifestaff?
We get sacred ground fortify , heavy armour, and the AOE.
Still waiting for that God mode void gaunt build.

I run something similar to this at around a 590 GS. 3k phys resistance, 1.5k ele resistance. All those physical armor buffs hit even aharder the more you stack phys resistance.

I prefer killing 1 or 2 of those elites at a time with a greataxe/warhammer
FYI new patch is taking away our toe dip with beacon as a healer. so a few seconds of haste, I feel, won't be worth it any longer.
It's hard choosing between this type of build and void gauntlet/lifestaff because of point management.
Plus target healing sucks so I use orb of protection instead
Question: How do you insta-self cast heals like you’re doing? I have yet to figure that out with NW’s targeted heals. I know how to self target after pulling the ability out but I’ve never had an instant cast by just pressing the ability itself
Sword needs cc or grit, some kind of buff…
Gaxe/Warhammer can do this with lifestealing perks on top of also killing everything quickly
I personally rather the stun over the charge ability. But other wise it’s a solid build I’ve played a fair bit think unlimited abilities. Good work 👍
My buddy plays a slight variation of this build and surprisingly enough, its good for all content. He makes a huge impact in Myrk runs, OPR, Tanking dungeons(lifestaff is actually crazy threat gen), etc. When i bring a spear and sit behind the mobs, he barely needs to heal. Very strong build that gets even more powerful when you add some synergy.

Interesting build, haven't been playing much lately tbh, just waiting for the next patch and all the changes to watermark before I work on raising mine and getting more gear. Not a huge fan of having gear I bought getting it's watermark reduced.
Really enjoy this build, probably spent the most hours of all builds using this. It really is fun, sure the kill times are slow but there's a lot of action so the time passes in an entertaining way 😁😁😁

What are your thoughts on Kite shield? You didn't mention it, and it might be a decent middle of the road shield to use.
