Everybody should be scared that they (Netflix) want to acquire the rights to 'The lion, the witch and the wardrobe' next. It will be bastardised, diversified and anti-Christianised. For sure it'll be ruined and C.S Lewis legacy shat on by multiple Netflix woke executives.
They have no talent, of course they have to steal someone's artwork.
Why is it that feminists and woke showrunners who will be the first people to scream about appropriation, will be the first people to steal other artists work for their project without a second thought. And now stolen artwork? Damn… as if it couldn't get worse… as people pointed out, it is not surprising, if you are so disconnected from the lore, the universe, meaning the existing franchise, no wonder you can't come up with art of the monster of that universe. To do that you'd have to actually look into the stuff, thats just not possible for those in charge that wouldn't touch one of the books if their life depended on it.

This is like when Star Trek Discovery (STD, what an unfortunate acronym) stole the characters and plot from an Egyptian indie developer's tardigrades video game.
The only thing this whole show production writers won't stole is the original source story and game lore.
That would've been handled by art department. I'm lazy and don't much care, but if anyone had the gumption to they could go on IMDb and figure out every member of the art department for blood origin.

The WAHMEN of The Witcher: Blood Origin are the Elizabeth Holmes of The Witcher Lore. The have stolen intellectual property and twisted/warped it, they have lied about Henry Cavill and his "MISOGYNIST, gamer attitude", theu base their characters off of identity politics, and they blame everyone else for hating everything about the show from the writer's room to the finished product. THIS story is the cherry on top of the sundae dish of CRAP that is "The Witcher:Blood Origin."
If it was one, I would say meh, 2 I would say probably, 3 + well obviously stolen.

As a Witcher fan since the original game came out (so an OG fan), I really enjoyed the show and didnt see anything really wrong with it. Dont understand the babyrage about it. Who cares if it didnt “fOlLoW ThE ExAcT LoRe”? It was still a good story and entertainment. Just seems like more cancel cultist childishness to me.
I was actually sceptical towards Henry Cavill as the Witcher, i thought he would be a perfumed version of the Witcher, but i was very wrong and it did not take me long to recognise that.
But when it comes to Americans destroying original stories, i have not been wrong so far, if it is of fantasy stories or if it is of real history, they do not care.
The closest they get to the original story is usually some few names, and the rest is some bullshit they come up with.
Its extra sad when they do the same to real history.
It hurt when Disney bought star wars. It hurt when Netflix bought Witcher. It hurt when Amazon got LOTR. It should be a great thing, 2 of the biggest producers of movie and tv shows in the world. Buying franchises people love. But it's a bad thing. The world is backwards and we have no one in entertainment we can trust. People in the 90's loved Disney, instant buy. Sad to see they've become Nintendo. Full of remakes and repaints. Innovation and creation of new good content is non existent.
To be fair, once you make your artwork available to the public, anyone can use it, under Fair Use. So long as it is transformative. It appears that Netflix made a similar rendition of the original artwork, and printed it on torn map props. They did not copy, and paste the original artwork. It would have been nice to get a credit for the use of the work, but they have no legal requirement to do so. This is the same reason that copyrighted artwork can be legally used to train AI models.
Hope he sues them… should be a pretty straightforward civil action.
