Welcome to a new kind of gaming challenge: The 5-Minute YEA or NAY Challenge, where I will play through a collection of classic retro games for only 5 minutes each, and determine whether it gets a ‘YEA’ or a ‘NAY’ from me. I’ll have one sole criteria for judging: After the 5 minutes is over, do I want to play more? It’s really that simple.
For this round of judgment, I’ll be playing selections from the NES retro collection which is available on the Nintendo Switch through the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service. I quite familiar with the majority of titles in this library of games having grown up with many of them, but I’d like to focus most of my attention on some of the lesser-known titles. I’ll also be taking suggestions and recommendation from the chat as well.
