Neighbor ‘shocked’ after 4 found dead of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning



Four people were found dead of apparent carbon monoxide poisoning in their New Hampshire home. Authorities are investigating the home’s heating system. WBTS’ Darren Botehlo reports.

  1. Hate when people say CO is odorless. While yes pure CO is odorless. It is never in its pure form and you’ll likely never encounter pure CO. It’s always accompanied by hydrocarbons and other pollutants that do have an odor.

  2. In the late 1960s, my friend's father decided to burn coal in the fireplace because the heat was off. Windows were closed. Luckily the oldest son came home from work late, discovered his entire family unconscious, and called the police. Dad was a Lockheed Martin engineer. You think he would have known better.
