Today we are showcasing a Negative deck that I’ve been testing for awhile. This doesn’t feel like it breaks the game open, but does feel like a pretty decent/consistent introduction back into the Negative Seratonin archetype that ran rampant in the game during beta. With the addition of Bast we can get Mister Negatives power almost back to where it was pre nerf plus most other cards that are common ran with mister negative benefit greatly from bast. I think a few upcoming cards and balance changes will take this deck from feeling decent to feeling incredibly viable in the meta.

Mr negative seems quite fun but untill they decide to do smth about leech idk if it can hold up to warrant a buy rn with tokens

Why zabu over psylocke? Psylocke slightly better inverted and same ramp for Mr negative. Psylocke also can be played on three to ramp into sera or iron man if needed.

I really appreciate the focus on “consistency” in this stream. I think the game’s format doesn’t lend itself to really focusing on win rates and consistency, and it’s so easy to see a deck perform well on a stream with crazy high roles and then try it yourself and feel the pain of it’s variance.
I really wish there was a semi easier way to get some of these cards. I need sera, warlock and bast. I love neg decks though.
I wish I could consistently play my negative deck. It feels like unless it's a Tuesday afternoon, or a Saturday, the shuffler, the locations and my opponents just bully me. As just happened to with my destroy list that's been great fun these last 2 days, but today it's like everything is a counter.

I'm kinda surprised this doesn't run Magik (EDIT: and yes, I know TLSG explains why in the video 🙂 ) or Jane, but I guess you either run one of those or Adam Warlock who is in this list, right? Sorry for a stupid question, I tried to play Negative deck, but it seems without Bast it's really not a deck for potato players. (and probably not even with Bast)
Love playing Negative decks, but this kind of deck will always feel a bit inconsistent – and they have to. I would guess it's also some kind of balance. High risk to play, but if you can play Mr Negative on 3… fasten your seatbelts ladies and gentlemen. No other deck can deliver such a power output in one turn like this deck. Shuri-Redskull – doesn't matter. The only thing which stops a negative deck is getting leeched or Enchantress into your Ironman.
Since Mr. Negative is your only 4 cost in this deck, wouldn't psylock be strictly better than zabu? That way it gives you the flexibility to psylock into an early sera (or even iron man) when you don't draw negative
I love negativea deck but instead i use the wong magic version because i dont adam warlock

Keep the Mr Negative decks coming. I love seeing ideas around Mr Negative despite the inconsistency.
playing a similar deck but I swapped out warlock, rogue, and wolfsbane with Psylocke, Superskrull, and Shang-Chi. Psylocke as an emergency zabu for Mr negative turn 3 or even just a ramp into sera turn 4 is already pretty good. Superskrull working better than rogue for me because it basically instantly gets the ongoing of anything they put down, in a lot of games I can just get the sera effect of my opponent without even playing it myself, and shang chi because zabu, sera, and Mr negative all make it 1 cost which is just broken IMO given that it solo wins a lane most of the time

I always loved playing Negative decks, it's high risk-reward thrill makes the games more exciting. However in this meta I didn't see any viable Negative deck… until now!
I tried it, I had to be determined though, on my first 20 games I didn't see Mr. Neg, I had to check my deck if I forgot to put him in 😀
But after this initial setback I won 40 cubes under an hour and went to 70(75). Which is huge for me, because I'm usually stuck in 50-60.

I went from 56 to 52 with this deck. It's not clicking for me.
