I, too, think the Guardsman (woman, whatever) is not actually there. She sounds like a manifestation of the doubt the Sister is harboring, an avatar that strips away the faith and gives voice to the stark reality around her. Both of her current situation and the Imperium at large. You'll notice that, like you said, she gets away with snarky remarks that would otherwise earn the Guardsmen a shattered jaw or worse. Also, The Guardsmen is only reacting to what the Sister sees and is thinking about, and necrozombies only attack the Sister and ignore the Guardsman.
To quote the 9th edition trailer:

And for those who prove worthy:
The Emperor sends forth
His Angels
Also, it's a good thing that she isn't using the Astartes grade bolter because body parts would be flying given that krieg are basically only wearing trenchcoats.

what i like in this is that they finally stop getting the gun to eye lvl …..they have the gun targeting in the helm …i hate marines snipers with gun to the eye or any snipers at this point in the future with the gun to the eye targeting …..looks cool but not necessary …..you can have multiple guns control from the helm for an ambush or assassination ……ty for the video

I don't think the Cadian Guardsman is a hallucination exactly… more like the Sister talking to herself, but shown to us in a visual format. It's a good storytelling method.

Too many girls. The problem with forcing women into everything is that theyâre actually just forcing women OUT of everything. These âwomenâ are written by men 99% (not that this matters, really) of the time and do not act like women at all. Theyâre just putting a female body and voice in there. Women are different. They think different they act different and thatâs what makes them great and why men need them and why women need men. Thatâs why when you get a bunch of dudes together youâll get one thing. And if you put a bunch of women together youâll get another thing.
Itâs hilariously ironic though, that all this girl power stuff is literally the opposite of inclusivity. Itâs just removing actual women and femininity entirely, and replacing it with a guy whoâs reskinned and revoiced as a âfemaleâ.

My one issue with the space marine sergeant scene is the two clicks when he runs out of shells. My guy is a warrior monk from countless campaigns who prayers over his war gear before each battle. You want to tell me he doesn't know exactly how many shells are in his gun at any given time??
Carcaradons or Minotaurs would be nice to see animated.
