  1. Wrath of the Wandermancer!
Undead AI being dumb is totally fitting, if you think about it. They don't really think much, after all.
And if you ask, then why is human AI dumb too? Oh, come on…

  2. AI: Other than units not fighting next to each other, it looks like you are meant to GUIDE them past the front lines (so they encircle). aka, they are not smart, you gotta help them push through

  3. My undead won't path past each other very well..
My man you got too much expectations from something you rose from the ground 5 min ago 😀

Am I the only one that thinks this adds to realism more than it takes from it?

  4. A few things that you seemed to have missed (in case you play agein)
The prists that you specificaly wantet to not sacrifice Heal other undead when Sacrificed besides that they seemed to only be normal melle Units so specificaly not sacrifcing them means you get no heal at all
Your Undead Rot over time so they have a Constant Max hp Drain.

And (this is just speculation) maybe the Hold RM disables them from attacking? since if its meant to allow you to push trought enemys retreat etc they cant realy stop to attack so maybe you need to use the Click to order them to attack (atleast when you had only like 20 or 30 units it seemed to work beyond that it got hard to track if you use Hold or Click) Though yes only the front 1 or 2 rows can attack for melle guys

  5. I can't quite tell just by looking at this gameplay footage but I think Wander might have missed that you command the horde by holding down RMB and they way you move them determines their actions. Clicking on the ground RTS style just sends them somewhere and they idle unless attacked or their base AI has them attack the nearest enemy.

  6. I just read today that the dev team was saying that they're not a AAA enterprise, can't go back in and revamp the AI, and they already spent their budget on the game.

Is anyone else REALLY tired of excuses like this? People like this are the reason the gaming industry is a dumpster fire right now. Either fix your game or enjoy poverty, dude. Make stupid games, win stupid prizes.

  7. I have always liked horde games like this and this one has style, but the minion AI doesn’t seem to be working very well. It’s driving me nuts to watch, only the very edge minions seem to be interacting with the enemy. Which is absolutely unacceptable coming a decade after Pikmen and the Overlord games. There might be an aggressive advance and a passive advance command like in Overlord that wonder just missed. Which is the only thing I can think of that would make this game more playable.
