It was bound to happen sooner or later! Join us for the ride where I *almost* fell off Harley for the first time as I talk through what happened and what I’d do differently next time.

Harley = ultimate over-achiever.
You think the first rider would stop and see if your ok instead just kept going….
A chest cam is great because the viewer gets to see more of your horse. Also, chest cam footage doesn't bob around as much. My horse is fifteen years old and far more feisty than Harley. All horses have moments even the quiet ones.
Your brave riding any horse in high winds let alone a youngster ❤😊
what a super boy in the storm!! loved this vlog rhi & excited to see your arena hire footage too! ❤
Well sat, your hacking looks so perfect. 💜🐴🦄
I hate that incidents never look as bad as they feel. My horse jumped a leaf (yes, a leaf that dared to be on the floor) in the school and it felt like he’d jumped about 3ft in the air. On the Pivo it looks like he’s just taken a big step. At lest you can take comfort in the fact that you didn’t fall and you managed to recover really quickly and neither one of you is any worse the wear.
Exactly like my horse always over jumping logs when out on hacks I’ve just had to get used to it 😂
Well sat! And as for filming, you should do what works for you and Harley. I will enjoy the ride regardless of the vantage point!
Nice job staying put. Rhi!
I love watching your trail riding videos. I used to help a friend of mine condition her endurance horses. I moved and I don't get out to ride with her very often anymore. Your videos really remind me of what it was like to ride with her. That twisty trail you were cantering on made me want to jump through the screen and come ride with you, lol. We used to jump logs on the trail all the time. I miss it!
oooh yes, that looks like a familiar happening. Same thing, I was on a young horse and expected her to just step over some braches on the ground or just walk on them (bad judgement on my behalf) but she took a huge leap from a standstill! I should never have expected her to walk on them. I was riding in a western saddle so it could have been very nasty but luckily for me I didn't go forward! You did well to stay on. At least you know you've got a strong core..lol
Love your content. I’ve learned so much to the point I’m now share my first horse! Hope to buy my own one day.
Lovely woods. Where is it?

Correction – my fully grown 12YO TB also thinks it’s fun and fair game to throw in a big jump over a tiny trot log 😂😂😂 it’s just just the youngens 😅
Isn't he just the sweetest!? He was so good in all the wind!
Well sat! Your comment about your most viewed video Rhi. It could be that people like me (I'm quite a nervous rider and have recently had a nasty fall), watch to reassure ourselves that unexpected stuff happens to other riders too 😊. Really enjoyed the video ❤
Watching your videos with Woody and now Harley, it's easy to see how much your horsemanship and confidence have grown! From the fact that your instinct on a super-windy day when you hadn't ridden in a week was, "Yep, let's take the 5-year-old on a trail ride!" to your moments in this video of riding on the buckle, and recovering from his enthusiastic jump, you just seem to be taking everything in stride more than ever. Thanks for sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly with your fans!
Ahh lovely vlogs I miss these vlogs I wish you did more like it!
He has some pop on him!…that was funny though…..but you did really well!
Loved this vlog hope you do more like it!
Very well sat rhi 😂 I've been caught out by a 5yo jumping a pole like a 5 bar gate and i didn't fare so well 😂 loved the video
It sounds odd but if i see the bad days it reminds me that everyone has them and it’s not just me. And I like the way you explain in detail what happened, what you should have done. Also when something unexpected happens, I like to see how you handled it. I have learnt a lot. So thanks for showing the good and the bad days. Xx
Oh my gosh the little head massage during your pre-ride groom was just precious 😭
If chest cam makes you more comfortable for the arena hire then would totally be up for having that alongside the regular vlogging. Oh and thank you so much for putting a coloured bar behind the text so it's more visible, very much appreciated!
You can tell he's got that proper hunter in him 😂 he's a dream
Lovely countryside. Where, approximately, is your stables? I live in Switzerland and I would love to have had those flat, woody paths and open spaces.
I adore how you always praise him! So many equestrians forget that part. My heart melted on the “Good boy, i’ve got you.” He must feel so safe with you! ❤😊
