  1. If the supply of Sanctifying Elixirs will be as limited as it appears to be so far, the Artifact Transmuter will be Crystalfly Trap-tier, honestly. Yes, it shaves off one layer of RNG, but your perfect double-crit on-set goblet will roll into flat DEF most of the time anyway.

  2. oh so you still can't skip the useless dialog. sure do wonder how many death threats it took for them to cave and give the free selector. would have been nice to have some of this years back. cool, you can customize some artifact stuff now, nice! just create a problem, let it simmer for years, and then sell the solution! noted. the new units do look dope. they might just look a little too colorful for my taste, from what I've seen in the promo stuff the region doesn't look to be that war torn as it was hinted at in the lore earlier if i remember correctly. eh, not that i care. anyways, weapon banner could also use a slight pity reduction aswell as let's face it, it's a weapon, not a unit. overall a lot better than previous years, though i do feel like it's still behind in most regards. 6/10.

  3. The reason Pyro traveler isn't available immediately is very obvious if you think about it. They were already designed and finalized long ago, and it was guaranteed to be… bad, to put it gently. However, now the situation is no longer the same, with certain 'competition' existing, unfortunately.
    Thus, they have to make it slightly less bad, and only then will the Pyro traveler be ready for release.

    Of course, knowing Mihoyo, it's still not gonna be anything too good. That would be ridiculous.

  4. did we really get good stuff from the devs?

    1. capturing brilliance is just 5% wishing boost. basically we don’t have 50/50, but 55/45. That’s something, yes. But it really isn’t much.

    2. sanctifying elixir. How often will they allow players to get 4 of these? You need 4 elixirs to craft one good artifact. I bet you it’s super rare and will still take a super long time to get the ideal artifact piece you want. (And real talk, once we level up that good artifact, subrolls will go mostly to flat HP and flat Def).

    3. free 5*. Standard banner characters are mid (viable at best), but they’re generally outdated. Genshin giving players free outdated character is like receiving leftovers. Would be nice at least if Genshin added already a new 5* Standard character. But no, they’re giving us leftovers. fyi, HSR & WuWa give free LIMITED (NOT Standard) 5* characters that are actually high-tier characters. This genshin 5* selector thing should have happened already back in 1.x or 2.x updates. Not in 5.0

    4. Weapon 5* fate reduced to 1. bruh, we should have had this since the beginning. Genshin devs bamboozled us for 3 past years with having to lose 2x before we get our guaranteed. Them reducing fate point to 1 should have been bare minimum YEARS ago. WuWa has no 5* weapon 50/50, and HSR has 75/25 or 70/30. How is Genshin better?


    thanks, but these aren’t really much. Genshin devs know how to trick players into believing they gave you a lot. But the truth is, they are just doing what they should have been doing years ago. Players didn’t get something really good out of the usual. We’re just getting bare minimum now after 4 years, and we’re supposed to be jumping for joy? lol. you have got to be kidding me. I’m no fool. I see past the bs of genshin devs.

    btw, saveable artifact custom loadouts, when? Stop being bamboozled by these Genshin devs.

  5. it changes the probability to 55/45 i believe, bc if you lose the 50/50 the mechanic kicks in to give you a 10% (I think) chance of winning instead. if that makes sense lol. it only kicks in if ur initially losing it, but overall that doesn't matter it rly just increases probability ! also someone tell me if I'm wrong on this hahaha

  6. Let's hope this isn't just empty promises or a fleeting idea.

    If a veteran player has to level up all 50 maxed characters due to a world level increase, it would take more than a year even with the promised rewards, especially considering the resin limitations. And even if you only focus on main DPS or support characters, it would render your other hard-earned characters obsolete. Why? Because enemies will be significantly stronger, making survivability difficult without a reliable dodge mechanic like in Honkai Impact 3rd or Wuthering Waves.

    I'm not overly excited about these changes. Genshin Impact had great potential, but the combat system became less engaging after Inazuma with the limited stamina and ineffective dodge. Shields and healing became essential due to the increased enemy damage, especially in the Abyss.

    I believe the new rewards will come with hidden costs. For example, requiring 80 boss materials to level a character to 100 would be excessive, even with the daily material drops. Considering the time investment for talent and weapon leveling, and the existing resin limitations, it would take an incredibly long time to level up a single character, let alone multiple ones. This means either neglecting other characters or spending an unreasonable amount of time grinding. That's why I'm skeptical about these upcoming changes.

  8. If they are making bosses drop 3 materials guaranteed and if it's goinf for weekly bosses why can't they just allow us to claim rewards multiple times a week. Or heck at least let us choose what we want to drop because the random drops kinda defeat the purpose of having guarantees
