Doctor Jane Foster was one of the world’s leading astrophysicists, the world’s foremost astronomer, the creator of the Foster Theory, as well as one of the premiere experts on Asgard. She found Thor after he was banished from Asgard and fell to Earth while she and her team were in New Mexico studying astronomical anomalies. She helped him in his mission to return to Asgard, eventually falling in love with him along the way. They were separated due to the temporary destruction of the Rainbow Bridge. During Loki’s assault on Earth, S.H.I.E.L.D. kept her out of harms way by transferring her to a remote observatory where Loki could not find her.
Foster found out of Thor’s return through the footage of the Battle of New York; this left her disappointed and angry that Thor didn’t attempt contacting her. During the Convergence, she became host to the Aether and helped Thor defeat Malekith during the Battle of Greenwich. Once free of the Aether, Foster returned to work and Thor had decided to remain on Earth with her. Due to her work studying of the Convergence, Foster was being considered for the Nobel Prize in astrophysics. Following the Ultron Offensive, Foster’s relationship with Thor turned sour, leading her to dump him.
In 2018, Foster was amongst the victims when Thanos wiped out half the life in the universe with the Infinity Stones. Resurrected five years later by the Avengers, Foster learned that she had stage IV cancer, seeking chemotherapy by 2025. She visited New Asgard, where the broken pieces of Mjølnir reassembled themselves and presented itself to her, granting her superhuman abilities. Operating as the Mighty Thor, she befriended King Valkyrie and defended New Asgard from Gorr the God Butcher, reuniting with Thor in the process. However, continued use of Mjølnir greatly weakened her body, and as a result of her decision to join the final fight against Gorr, she succumbed to her cancer. Having died a warrior’s death, her soul went to Valhalla, an Asgardian afterlife, where she was greeted by Heimdall
Thor: Love and Thunder is a 2022 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Thor. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was directed by Taika Waititi, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman. In the film, Thor tries to find inner peace, but must return to action and recruit Valkyrie (Thompson), Korg (Waititi), and Jane Foster (Portman)—who is now the Mighty Thor—to stop Gorr the God Butcher (Bale) from eliminating all gods.
Hemsworth and Waititi had discussed plans for a sequel to Ragnarok by January 2018. Love and Thunder was announced in July 2019, with Hemsworth, Waititi, and Thompson all set to return, as well as Portman who did not appear in Ragnarok. Waititi wanted to differentiate Love and Thunder from Ragnarok, seeking to make a romance film and 1980s-inspired adventure. He adapted elements from Jason Aaron’s run on Thor comic books during the 2010s, which similarly debuted Gorr and saw Foster take on the mantle and powers of Thor whilst under treatment for cancer. Robinson joined to contribute to the script in February 2020, and further casting was revealed later that year including the appearance of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Production was expected to begin in late 2020 but was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This movie ruined Thor 😭😭
This movie was a joke. They wasted God Butcher, Thor everything
CgI made her strong 😂
I'm sorry how well did that movie do at the box office oh wait that's right it didn't
🐕💩 movie !
Hot 🔥🔥🔥
taika ruined every movie he touched
She's so damn insufferable with her "waahmen power "😂
Moment you came from me we was your legacy you cannot get more stronger than the role you played in the
This movie was complete 💩 and taika should never have been given the chance to make Thor's character even worse after Ragnarok.
So cringe.
Go woke, go broke 😂
Telling a story my aa.. it was the most stupid as.. story in the whole Marvel universe.
Woman, ohmygosh what a problem. Thank god for marvel for putting them on and their needed hand outs. So glad this is finally happening. Thank you marvel
Thor: Gagnarok
Taika went over her crib to smash.
The movie had great pieces, but they did not fit together. It did not know whether to be funny or dramatic.
WTF you ruined Thor for us. First star wars and now this😂
What a crappy movie.
Such a disappointing film. So many opportunities to be something incredible: budget, talent, and underlying theme, but the script was awful and the campiness was so over the top, it lost all sense of what it needed to be.
Interesting concept 🤔
2013 to 2022
Marvel let a guy like Taika destroyed the Thor movie with his lame joky style plus he dosent like the comic book world nor dose he care about the real fans of Thor and dosent respect the source material.Taika and his Antiwhiteism. This a perfect example when you give a job to a person just becous there not white,Taika is a diversity quota that marvel hired and it showed in his treatmen of the last two Thor movies.
One of the worst marvel movies. Natalie did great with what she was given. Tiko should never be given another marvel or Star Wars movie ever again.
Garbage movie, garbage concept that had already failed in the comic books. This movie destroyed the best Thor comic book storyline, which could've been an awesome trilogy. Congratulations to the MSheU for destroying in such a short time what the MCU took years to build.
Horrible idea😔
I really enjoyed this film. I think I took myself to see it like 5 times in the theater. I had no problems with it. Haha 🙂
Well I'm sorry to tell you but that hammer was broken and it just causes broken doesn't mean that lost its power which she did not prove that she was the right person to wield it because she had personal views and things and it's just not the same as in iron Man couldn't pick it up or anybody else but vision could not how she did it is up to the writers and the people at the movie that sucks
Natalie was great in the movie. Sadly the script wasn't good!
I had so much hope for this movie, I was very disappointed
Too bad Taika completely whiffed on Jane's story and turned Thor Odinson into a walking punchline. He trod a razor's edge on Ragnarok, but his comedy dominated Love & Thunder completely undercut what would have made a good movie. Jane, as the Mighty Thor, should have been its own movie and not a shallow subplot of this move. The God butcher story would alsomhave been served better had these two plotlines been separated.
Her shape was so incredible the CGI just jumped out of the computer to attach itself to her.
Fucking eat a burger or two, ladies. It's okay.
Yeah, this one missed the boat slightly. The premise was great really enjoyed most of the picture.
To bad he ruined the story so much
Taika ruined these movies
Terrible movie
I guess she must regret taking on that role now. E
Yeah, but the end result was a dull movie.
If only this movie didn’t suck donkey balls, but it did. Massive donkey balls.
Taika messed up the Thor character big time, all the corny jokes and quips where there should had been action, like thor lifing or holding up a building or something
There are no female Navy Seals. There are no female warriors!
This movie could have been great… but when you focus on yourbactors instead of a Plot, or a story that can continue, or grow into something else that people want to see more of.. i mean.. you go nowhere.. i mean you had one of the most powerful villians ever.. soooooooooo much source material. And this movie went nowhere.. plain and simple.
