My Father recently bought one of those little saws… It was the best thing he ever could have picked up. He is terrible with saws he was going to end up cutting himself real bad with his regular plug in electric saw because he runs it untill the chain is so dull it won't cut at all and it's so loose its hanging 2 inches below the bar because he is 75, retired and as stubborn as a mule. He got the little battery powered guy and he was able to cut up a massive pile of brush I had made from trimming his trees after the huricane in a couple of hours, that would not have been possible with any larger saw.
Tell you what. A light electric saw will probably always have a place in my lineup. You can just pick it up and make one quick cut with no hearing protection and don’t have to choke a cold saw to get it going. I got 2 of the hypertough 20v saw when the where clearing them out for $30 a piece and there durability is good. There not a echo or husky or stihl durable but they have there place. The thing I like most about them is there light weight.

That'd be handy for clearing around a treestand or something. I take my little makita recip with a coarse wood blade for the same reason.

I'm curious about durability, this might be better than a Sawzall for cutting one handed trimming branches 25ft up in a tree
